I have a Maruti 800 cc car, can the above ATF cud be used for my manual gear box pls. Also if anyone cud advise me the SAE standard of Texamatic 1888 whether SAE 20/30 or 40..I surfed the web but cud not trace.

Difficult to figure out , few tips....If you know about carb operations and adjustments. a) Remove the carb and partially block the jet fuel passage b) Adjust the fuel / air screw to the leanest level If sorted, then change the carb repair kit. and if black smoke still persists, as AVANTE suggested..... try your luck on a new carb. But at 65,000 odo level, carb should be good enough to run another 20000 / 30000.

Bike is almost 14 years old.....Well looks like........you need to go for an engine overhaul... Remove the spark plugs and see whether there are oil and / or carbon deposits. If it is oil then an engine overhaul, probably replace the piston rings etc............

Hi Members, Is there a place where i could convert my car to Gas. Seen plenty of conversion centers couple of years back, but nothing to my sight these days. Im aware of the Pro's and con's, however having run many converted vehicles, i still prefer in spite of the drawbacks

You have two options, ur questions are not very conclusive If u want to try ur luck, use a fuel addictive and run for a week or so, if fails, try a carb cleaner. If both fails go for a carb tuneup, i dont know any specalist, my case i do on my own

So thats it, most probably ur carb had been set for lean mixture to increase mileage, as far as im concerned nothing wrong with ur fuel system, try a fuel addictive if u think the lines are blocked

I would rather allow the engine to idle for a couple of minutes before accelaration, if the car doesnt bog down, then ur carb is fine. Btw what is the fuel consumption

Increase the fuel inflow to the carb by adjusting the fuel air mix screw, if it doesnt work try a carb cleaner spray

no the fuel lines needs to be cleaned too.. because every morning the car stops as I start it and accelerate I think this is due to lean mixture

Renewing the Revenue Licence is not a big deal, get the car road worthy and do the emission test. Go to the DS pay the fine and get the new licence, but you need to have at least the last renewed original licence in your hand, Oh ...... im a really fan of this 10 light Galant.

Good news, I have few wiper scratches on my car windscreen. EveilEye how did u do it, was it mixed with water and polished.
