Hi, There is a sound coming from my car's(Maruti 800, 2005) gear lever. I went underneath and found that gear lever is resting on the silencer and that's why sound comes. When i asked from a garage person, he told some bush is there to hold the gear to the body and that bush has damaged and that's why it is resting on the silencer. Is it true ? Does anybody have any idea about how much will it cost ?

Thanx Guys. I handed over the docs with transfer papers to RMV. I'm the one who complained to police about lost of VIC. I gave the copy of it as well. Further the pink colour form(which to be filled to get a new VIC) was got signed by the owner. Will it be an issue ?

I got a car last week and the VIC of the car has been lost by the previous owner. I got the transfer letters signed by him. But can't put to transfer as VIC is not there. How can i get the VIC back ? Somebody told me to go to police and put an entry there and then they will give me a reciept, so attach it with the transfer paper, then you'll get the VIC with the transfer. IS it correct ?

Dear Friends, Thank you for the response. My budget is 8.5 lacks. What made me to opt for Maruti is its very economical and that i'm expecting most economical car due to my financial situ. In addition as Maruti KA/ KB cars, hopefully will be free from big repairs as those are quit new. Please advice me if i'm wrong.

Dear Firends, Today morning when i was driving, the heat was going high, then when checked water has got emptied in the radiator. I serviced the car(Alto, Japan version) 3 weeks ago and there after i couldn't check the water levels. But this is the first time water got emptied since the day i got the car.(I'm using this for about 3 years now and ran only 38,000 kms, got unregistered) I checked for any leakage by keeping the engine at start mode for about 5 mins after putting water, but no water dropeed in to the ground. So what may be the cause ? Please be kind enough to let me know. Thanx in advance.

Hi, i'm thinking of buying a car. My budget is 9ook. I want a car which is very good in fuel. Therefore i though of going for a used Maruti car ? Is it a good desision ?
