You might want to see what caused the fuel pump to go bad. coz that rarely happen, in a vehicle with low milage. gel mount I understand....seems to be a common issue

check the front engine mounts. the gel mount tends to go bad after 60000 km. and genuine mount cost me 19000

Hi Guys, Its me again. Can some one please suggest me the correct transmission oil for Demio 2009, normal Auto ? (not CVT) and its cost? and I have 51000Km on ODO, when should I do the break oil change & engine tune up?

ok got it done, Air filter (VIC) = 2750 Oil Filter (VIC)=860 Labour charges= 4400 Sunries = 721.50 Castrol (10W40) magnetic 3.5L = 3919.97 Total = 12651.47 Even though it was expensive, service was good. they did it carefully and in satisfactory level. Also provided me a inspection report vehicle.

Hi Guys, sorry for the late reply Ya I know, but I'm hoping to save some on oil, apperently my friend was billed 2k+ for castrol for his service. I'm going for the service tomorrow and after that I'll post here about exact cost Ya, but A*W does waxing and full car report so seems worth it

Thanks Sameera, I purchased VIC brand air filter and oil filter from a dealer in my town. Air filter - 2750 Oil Filter - 860 I will ask A*W to use OIL from their place. they use Castrol. According to them Basic service without parts will be about 5250/- so I' expecting around 10000/- total cost. Will update about the service on Saturday with exact cost details. Ya I know, but they also do other vehicles. Colonial seems too expensive for me as I'm on a tight budget.

Hi Don thanks for the reply. my friend recommended A*W as he got service done on his swift and he was very happy with it. I would like to stick to one service station with a reputed name who will maintain a service record so when I'm going to sell the car, it would be an advantage.

Hi Guys, I'm planing to take my demio to A*W service station for the service. I'm planing to replace oil filter,air filter and fuel filter along with the engine oil. I'm thinking about purchase above parts and give them to A*W instead using their own. Any suggestions on where I can get quality matching parts? and how much will they cost? and is it cheper do give them a OIL can or should I use OIL from A*W? (I think they use castrol) Thanks

Hi Guys, I recently brought a 2009 demio and as for the moment it has about 42000 Km on the ODO. My friend suggested that now its time to do a engine tune up. Is that correct? if it is, is there any recommended place to get it done and how much will it cost? Thanks

nah, I think its just because I'm not used to this vehicle..I checked it with car checks prior to the purchase and everything was in excelent condition. planing to put it on highway tomorrow. lets see then.

I'm still not used to this accelerator. when you start from halt, if you press accelerator slightly, it want move. if I press it little bit more, then there is a quick acceleration. adrenaline pumping, but not smooth I would say. btw, I am driving a suzuki kei manual car, which I love. very good handling with good thrill (even though it has a 3 cylinder 660cc engine)

Hi Davy, Thanks, actually as far as I know, the car was never advertised. He said he saw my ad in ######, and mailed me before advertising it. I called him, and I said I need to check it with a garage and if all is well I will buy it. he agreed and told me yes sure, lets check it first and then if you don't like it, I'll advertise the car. He is really a good man, not like the crook (doctor) I tried to buy a demio earlier.

brought mine today also. 2009, 41k mileage don't know whether its cvt or AT (anyway to find it?) purchased for 2.5mil from the first owner. well that wanted ad really worked.

lol no tricks, if it was good car I would have buy it yesterday. it vibrates so hard even plastics in side begin to make scratching noises , and gear shifting was also a mess probably gear box is also messed up. it was 2nd owner but this man keeps it open papers yep KN car is the one I missed do you have an idea about the cost to import one? lets hope both of us can find a good cars soon.

Hi Devy actually I missed one demio yesterday. It was a nice one with white seats (Might be the same one you missed). And went to check another demio at matara. it is a KV number but lol it seems to be repaired after an accident. it vibrates like a landmaster though owners played dumb . good looking car but only a crazy or fool will buy that yep I posted one wanted ad in that site (one with english and sinhala description) Its funny why people say mazdas are hard to sell while we cant get hold one

Hi Guys, I've been looking to buy a decent demio (say YOM 2009 or above with mileage below 70K) for past 2 months. They pops in rare occasions in Autolanka, but when I contacted them (usually day after advertising) they are already sold. With my busy work life I dont have a time to travel here and there as soon as a car pops in Does anyone know or has a Demio to sell? If you do can you kindly contact me? (send me a message and I'll call you) I'm looking for Metallic grey (gun metal) or Silver color cars with CVT Apart from that Do you guys have an idea about price(final in LKR) of a 2015 demio (skyactiv engine with new masculine body)?
