Hi Buddy, By making this comment I feel you have made lot of friends... for you. I am one of those...... What I feel is, by respecting doctor profession it is fair enough to give them permit and salary hike. But government should put a STRICT rule that if a doctor works in government hospital, he or she should NOT allowed to do private practice. Then they can concentrate more on their work and can serve patients very well in the government sector. Thanks.......

Wingroad - Automatic Gearbox - Not Changing Suddenly
tilvin replied to tilvin's topic in General Automotive
I brought this to EFI tuning person@Cotta Road a week back. He did a scan to find if there any problem with gearbox solenoids, speed sensor o related and told that he could not find any fault in the scan. He suggested to replace the gearbox in the worst case. My only question is why it becomes OK after restarting the car? Recent change done is AC guys closed the water lines going to the heater core advising me that the AC cool may be high. I told this to Nilwala motors person. He told that this does not have any relationship with gearbox. Friends, please help me with your suggesstions. -
Dears, I have a Nissan Wingroad 2002 (3 meter model) model - automatic. From last couple of weeks onwards, there is a strange issue I am facing. Normally we do travelling around Colombo in heavy traffic and occassionally out stations. While the car running when we slow down or stop the car in traffic light and take off, it will take off but gear will not change. Even when the RPM goes above 3, it will not change. When you stop the car somewhere and restart (shutdown the key and start again) the issue will be OK. Sometimes the car will run continually without any problem. But sometimes this issue will come more than 3 or 4 times in a particular day. So I brought the car to Nilwala motors. They took a scan and told me that there is no any fault showing on the scan. He ran a test round and told that he could not find any fault. But this issue still continuing. I did an oil change. But this issue did not go. Please assist me what I can do next. Thanks......

Dear Friends, I have wondered about this and finally decided to ask from you, since we do have many experts around...When AC in 'fresh air mode', I assume the cabin filter will be used to filter certain harmful things. But when the AC is in 're-circulation' mode, will the cooled air be filtered by it? Please advise. My car is Nissan Wingroad(2002) model and it has a cabin filter. Thanks...

Dear Friends, These days I am finding not cooling enough during 12 pm -2.30 pm with my Wingroad Y11. But morning and evening OK. Almost 8 months back I went for AC gas filling. They just recharged the reduced gas only and washed the condensor I think. But they did not change the AC gas filter and put any compressor oil? For a correct procedure, what have to be done? This time I am going to bring to them. Please advise. Thanks.....

Thanks guys for your suggestions and great support as usual... And what do you think causing my other problem? stated in red below. Also when a diesel vehicle with full of smoke(Visible grey/white smoke) passes, I can able to smell significant exhaust smoke as well. But I am keeping AC in recirculation mode. What can be wrong? Any experts please help....

I have a Nissan Wingroad WFY11 model. In its blower knob, there is auto position. In the morning when you keep that in auto position and temp set at 22.5 C and it works fine. The blower fan speed controls accordingly with the temp. But if I shutdown the engine and start again the blower fan speed will work with full speed continuously. Fan speed will not reduce after 10 minutes even. Also after some time there is a hot metal burning smell coming from the A/C if it continuously run. What I do is put the blower speed in 2 or 3 and on/off AC periodically to stop this annoying smell. Also when a diesel vehicle with full of smoke(Visible grey/white smoke) passes, I can able to smell significant exhaust smoke as well. But I am keeping AC in recirculation mode. What can be wrong? Any experts please help....

Yes. It seems. But in temperature gauge it did not show high. It was standing in operation temp mark point.

Thanks Friends. Knock issue seems fixed with the fans replacements.
-
I changed both radiator and AC fan. Need to run and check whether knock is coming..

Recently did engine tuning with Dammika. Changed all 4 plugs at that time. ATF we changed around 8000km before. Will it be due to bad airfilter?

Dear Friends, I have a Nissan Wingroad WFY11. It starts and runs smoothly in the morning. When it reaches the operation temperature it starts to give slight engine knock and pulling efficiency reduces. It is an automatic one. I recently did engine tuning. But this problem did not solve. Will it be anything do with the radiator fan? I put AC and checked. Both fans are working. Is there any lo/high speed in this model? Anyway temp gauge did not go up above normal operation temp point. Please advise with your suggesstions. Thanks...

You have opened 2 threads on the same question... Wasting resources and other people time..... In your previous thread somebody have guided you I think.....

Thanks Harshan for your explanation..... From Harshan's comment, what I can suggest "Clivelloydrocks" is to first check in the morning to put AC on as soon as car starts and check whether the fan kicks in. If it is not kicked in, then that means the fan does not work as expected with "AC" on. Because with past experience with my vehicles, I personally aware that AC significantly impact engine temperature and cooling system as a whole should be able to handle and manage this.... Hope this helps.....

Hi Harshan and other Peugeot Fans, I am not much familiar with Peugeot 307. I am asking this just for the information. When in the morning(That means engine is at cold state), if we start the car and put the AC on, for the correct operation is it expected the fans to be kick in or not? Does 307 have 2 fans? When AC on how the fans operate? As a Peugeot fan I just want to know some information......

You can't compare MRF with Japanese makes I mentioned previously.... They are far superior and better quality than MRF brand.... You can't compare these with the MRF junk....
