  1. That's nice, heard only two in SL? Who owns it anyway? Wonder if they're selling, and how much if at all. Just an inquiry from anyone who knows. Btw, how many DC2 'nikan' stuff is there? Not the Type R I mean, just the B18 model? Any idea?
  2. Hehe Nope, it's just around my area and I always have a quick eye for a nice looking car But well, on that day I WAS actually looking for it all along the way from home to kandy cuz I wanted to see if I was wrong, which is just for informational purposes so no 'stalking' OoopZ! Guess it's not too nice to discuss about it then. But maybe they'd be kind enough to give some info on the car, as it's no longer theirs?
  3. Hey everyone, Have any of you heard/seen of a 96 Integra DC2 square light SiR with auto transmission? And can it be converted to manual without too much trouble? I can find new gears but need trans case, syncro's, and all the little odd bits, any such luck from a crashed or condemned or whatever B18 car? BTW Nope I'm not confused, saw it today at about 11am parked at the Heerassagala Keels Super HS-7324, I saw and saved the number to come back home and check with the picture. I'd seen that car before but didn't believe it to be an SiR cuz of the loud sound and low speed!! Wow, nice to know we have such a car here It has red/black DOHC VTEC on the sides and a Type R style H badge on front and back, Civic Ferio badge taken off and SiR on the boot lid from a few weeks back. So THAT'S an EK4 Sedan with B16A?? Hmmm, wonder if he's selling. How much would it cost? Hope the owner isn't reading. As you guys had it, may I know the history too please? How many drags and accidents?
  4. Good Car with good driver then Tempting.
  5. Hmm, what sort of bigger rivals? Surely not the ITR with the K20A?? Maybe that car is all good and heavily modified, yet I want a base to build up from, not a full fledged racer just from the start, that'd be no fun nah? Pro's should have that car, maybe like the current owner. Besides, just now saw that they've got a nice and shiny dyno here So things will be way different now, lets hope. It'd be great if you can post what that SiR is putting out.
  6. Hey that's extremely great news! Thanks a lot, this country truly needs one with so many Evo's and STi's Btw, were there other 2wd dyno around here? Cuz no one ever told or knew before, nor is searching any help Where exactly is this going to be situated?
  7. Chips? Haha Yea right, I'm just a nobody who knows a teeny tiny bit Theory isn't always correct, and you all have lots of XP...
  8. Hehe Guess many think that bigger capacity is always better, like V8 muscle cars, but having 5.4L they put out around 400hp. I'd always go with a B18 over a B20, cuz the former was made for high performance, that's why it's got factory VTEC nah. A friend has got a Garrett GT26R ball bearing for me, think I can set it to around 15psi safely IF I had a B18 but the block would just blow into pieces with a B20. NA, yea that car would doing pretty nice right now. Thought of buying a Civic and swapping a B16 or B18 in, but Integra comes all in one package nah? So it's better and easier. But wth, you guys are the pro's! So please give some advice about it? Maybe the B16 head can be honed, but it would make it kinda weak after shaving 4mm off I guess Ah ok then, isn't it kandy at all?
  9. Yea it's the head that matters but still a B16 head is weaker than a B18 ne... Besides, B20 is 84mm bore and B16 is 81mm right?
  10. Yea I know they do match and swapping can be done, but what for? On an Integra, I haven't heard that before, unless he blew the engine. Civics, it's common. Cuz the B18 is far superior to both B20 and B16!!
  11. Hey can you please mail me the details to [email protected] then? Thanks a lot btw! May I know why on earth is it running an old non-VTEC B20 block and a smaller B16 head? What happened to the original B18? Any crashes and stuff? I want to strip what I get down to the chassis and rebuild up, so need to know if any damage has been done.
  12. No I meant Acura's were given GSR. Dunno about Singapore, Malaysia etc., maybe they too had GSR trim from Honda itself. AFAIK Japan Integra was called the SiR or Type R on DB8/DC2 platforms. I asked if they ARE 98 whether US cuz they have round lights, which was stopped in Japan after end of YOM 95. Another option is that one could always convert it to RHD. Some people have done that in US, to make them unique and also changed the front bug light fascia to the JDM facelift, google will give many such posts and images Ah ok, mid 90's means probably 93-95 era? Makes sense now, thanks! So they just mean 98 is registered year, not YOM. I'm looking for a 96-99 YOM Integra DC2 or DB8 in GSR/SiR trim. Whatever it is, I'd settle for SOMETHING with a B18C manual now {{ Quick Addition }} http://www.honda-integra.info/history/ USA - Acura Integra; Trims - RS, LS, GS, GS-R and Type R Europe - Honda Integra; Trims - LS, GS, GS-R and Type R Japan - Honda Integra; Trims - (ESi, ZX, ZXi, ZXi 4WD, Si-VTEC for 93-95) Ti, Xi, XI-G, Xi 4WD, SiR, SiRII, SiR-G and Type R
  13. Hey everyone, sorry for the long post, hope someone would read it After quite a lot of searching and researching, I got some facts confirmed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Integra...E2.80.932001.29 IS correct (as some don't believe it cuz anyone can edit) and that models have been like : USDM Acura Integra 1993 - 2001, DB (4 Door Sedan) & DC (3 Door Hatchback) platforms all came with the ugly bug lights. JDM Honda Integra 1993 - 1995 (end) , DB & DC platforms with ugly bug eyes. JDM Honda Integra 1996 (beginning) , DB & DC platforms came with the nice long straight lights, developed with the Type R. DB8 was 4 Door Sedan and came in all high end trim levels, including Type R and a B18C engine with VTEC. DB7 was 4 Door Sedan and came in all low end but NOT the Type R and a B18B engine withOUT VTEC. (1993 - 1995) DB6 is relatively unheard of 4 Door Sedan with a ZC engine derived from the D16 found in old Integras or higher end Civics. DB9 is probably very rare and 4 Door Sedan with 4WD and a ZC engine same as in DB6. DC2 was 3 Door Hatchback or 2 Door Coupe (as we see it) and came in all high end trims incl. Type R and B18C with VTEC. DC1 was 3 Door Hatchback and came in all low end trims but NOT the Type R and a B18B/ZC engine withOUT VTEC. All B engines above had DOHC engines, ZC had SOHC and all made in Suzuka, Japan. DB9 axles can be switched to a DB8 to make a 4WD Integra 4 Door Type R or GSR/SiR-G (or whatever you want depending on money ) Type R and GSR/SiR(-G) both have same engine block and head, modified by the factory on the ITR so even a GSR/SiR-G can be converted into that, properly and not just cosmetically. GSR was a trim for USA in both Sedan and Coupe models while Japan had SiR for Coupe and SiR-G for the 4 Door Sedan. Now another lot of confusing questions... What are these? http://www.autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=34826 http://www.autolanka.com/ad.asp?ID=30111 Actually 1998 or earlier? If 98, must be US? GSR or SiR-G? Please someone help.....!! Lots of JDM details or this for HONDA Integra - http://www.cars-directory.net/specs/honda/integra
  14. Err, that's weird cuz I thought the 2 Door GSR was DC2 and then the Type R was made by modifying the same engine and chassis, so both were same platform. Btw, that Prelude seems to have a H22A engine with "Found in the Japanese 4th gen Prelude Si VTEC (2WS BB4 & 4WS BB1). It produces 200 PS (147 kW; 197 hp) @ 6,800 rpm & 161.50 ft·lbf (218.96 N·m) @ 5,500 rpm and comes with a 'black top' " specifications.
  15. Oh sorry, I just misread that coupe bit for a Hyundai Coupe (Tiburon) that was for sale, extremely new too. Hmm, I wonder why it was for sale at that price when even some EG8s seem to going at 1M+. Maybe some sort of accident or cuz of fuel consumption? Good buy if everything works then. Btw, think EG8s are too expensive still though, taxes came down again so new rate is 174% total right? Hmm, maybe then. Was it a crystal light, 1999 or so, white shell car you sold?
  16. You mean the black one, HZ number for 12.75M? Yea it's a lovely car and would have taken IF it was manual Probably got a 2.0L Turbo DOHC engine too... Any idea what the 'Honda Sports Car', 2.2L DOHC VTEC engine, full option and tiptronic car for 6.9 lakhs?
  17. Hmm, maybe so then. I'll take a pic next time and post it here You'd know more than me ofcourse. What for? Same thing after all... This is exactly what I want to do, white with bronze/brass wheels, but need a car Stafford won't tell how many DC2s they brought here nor is the SLDMT organized enough to find anything...
  18. Yea Acura changed the name for the Integra to RSX in 2002, with DC5 chassis, until then it was Acura Integra, right? Besides, it's easier to work with a US car cuz more cheaper parts for it, even though quality is obviously better with JDM. Ok Please let me know if you or he finds any such Integra? I called 0771528644 but that was a 1996 Integra GSR DC2, 'auto' But happened to all the cars, crashed like the Skylines?? Any idea what's this cuz you took the photo? Looks like an Accord to me... http://autolanka.fotopic.net/p29745839.html
  19. Hehe Seems you guys have had the best cars gone through you, any idea what's this? Seems Acura, not Honda, so is it RHD or LHD cuz probably from USA? http://autolanka.fotopic.net/p29745797.html And any idea where to find a decent Integra (with long lights)? All searching in vain upto now
  20. Ah yes, the one I've seen is the same I think, cuz the shell and bodykit is familiar, but with red H badges on front and back, and the Civic badge must have been stolen recently I guess, suddenly missing. It looks different from other cars here, especially the lights.
  21. Don't know how true this info is but they make some sense too so now kinda confused Integra Chassis Codes DA1 86-89 Integra RS/LS/GS 5dr DA3 86-89 Integra RS/LS/GS 3dr DA5 90-93 Integra Txi/Rxi/Zxi/ZX 3dr* DA6 90-93 Integra XSi/RSi 3dr* DA7 90-93 Integra RX/ZX/RXi/ZXi/ZX Extra 4dr* DA8 90-93 Integra XSi 4dr* DA9 90-93 Integra 3dr DB1 90-93 Integra 4dr DB2 92-93 Integra 3dr DC2 94-01 Integra GSR/Type R 3dr DC4 94-01 Integra LS/SE/GS/RS 3dr DB7 94-01 Integra LS/GS/RS 4dr DB8 94-01 Integra GSR 4dr DC5 02-05 RSX/Type S 3dr *JDM cars Picture from Integra service manual I'll check on that car if I see it around here then Hmm, I've no idea why people bring auto, cuz if it's economy you want, need manual, or performance, need manual...
  22. Hmm, yea it's a HB plate or something with a D engine and a Type R badge too... Seen it around my house. Also some weird looking EG8 in purple with two silencers and white interior
  23. A white sedan Civic Ferio around Dangolla which suddenly had a SiR badge from a few weeks back?
  24. Ok thanks, any idea where that is? Only two auto Integras for sale right now on AL But the long rectangle light Integra is the DC2 right? Weren't there several such cars for sale in the past two weeks in HitAd and Lahipita, but auto tranny? Or are you speaking about the type R? If there are two that you know, anoyone selling anything? I'm in kandy, but haven't seen an SiR sedan or coupe around here other than EK3s with the badge only on them Anybody know who has it?
  25. Hi everyone, I'm new here, and I want to buy a Honda Integra DC2 but haven't been able to find anything proper. All what I contacted were with auto transmission, even ads here are for DB8 and that's old and got bug eyes Can anyone tell of any DC2 for sale, B18C engine, manual, nice if it's a GSR (wonder how many DC2's are there in SL anyway), run average and not TOO much like 250k or more km as with some Civics. 2 or 4 doors doesn't really matter, but would always like a coupe Please also tell the price cuz those auto's were going at around 1.6M. Wouldn't mind a small increase for a car in good condition. And also of any Civics with B16's that are either coupe or sedan, NOT hatchback. Thanks!
