Hi, which OBD2 scanner did you use? and how much the cost of O2 sensor?

actually I am still running with 30. No visible difference in tire thread wear. In tire it has a label "max 40 psi". Does a tire have a recommended pressure labeled on it self?

The sticker says 30. But that is to 195/60/15. now I got 205/60/15

Thanks. Currently tire pressure is only 30. So I will change it to around 32-33 next time.

For me, the build quality is same. It may be little less for Micro since it is assembled in Sri Lanka. But for me trend is better than alto since it has more space and acceleration. Also I haven't drove a alto K10 which can be more powerful than earlier alto 800.

I was referring to MIcro trend not to Panda. Trend is another Chinese car where it's original name is Hafoi Lobo. It is with 1075 CC engine. Since Panda is a 1.3L engine I think it won't do beyond 10Km/L. I may be wrong. But definitely you cannot trust sales persons in Micro. . For me the best employer at micro is the guy at Borella show room. He can "Thela gahanna" for anyone.

I also have heard most people accuse micro for their service. but I also went to the service center once to service the trend I used (my mother's) and I got the car back in time. Since most people say how terrible their service, I went there at about 7 am where my appointment time was 7.30. I met their service engineer and he told me that washing the car will take more time and it might cause some delay. (after I told him these terrible delays at micro services). Anyway I am not commenting micro service is very good since I have got my car in time since I have done only one service with them myself. May be I have got lucky :D. Anyway I advice people to take your car as early as possible. If anyone need any information about trend just let me know

only 8Kmpl for trend? That is impossible. I drove a one for two three months and I got 11 -12 Kmpl withing Colombo city. Once we went to Kandy which had 300Km and we scored 15Kmpl. Car is auto. Trend is far more better than Alto. Has more room and more acceleration.

Last October they (micro) said the price will be 1.2 million and first lot will be released on Feb 2011. They must have changed the price since then. Anyway there were some news paper articles saying there is a high demand for this vehicle. Anyway exterior look is fantastic especially black color. (seen some cars in the road.

Downloaded one DVD which having data for my car. And found only American models were available in that DVD. Therefore please check if your vehicle is one of the american version. if not no data will be available for your model.

I never said I want to put a car to a dyno. I was just checking what we can yield from dyno test as I was unaware about testing vehicles on dynos.

Again to the beginning. My concern was to check if someone can pin point the errors caused to reduce the HP by putting it to a dyno test. I thought dyno has some mechanism to measure other parameters of the car and find what is the cause for HP reduction. Now it seems dyno is unable to do that. Any ideas why dyno test is that much expensive? because of the high capex?

hmmm It seems no body would think out of the box. if you bought an econobox just be happy with its current performance. And you were right. After your reply I searched youtube for dynos and found almost no econoboxes tested. anyway i am not interested in racing, just the mechanical/electrical part inside the car.

I know what dynamometer does theoretically. I thought they have a mechanism to figure out what are the wrong factors with the engine operation parameters. Such as Air/Fuel mixture, ignition problem. If not there will be no use for ppl like us where we use vehicle for daily running (not for racing).

I agree. But I thought they can pin point the actual error for power loss rather than checking all the components. For just to get HP values, 15,000 is very high. I think full EFI cleaning and tuning can be done lesser than that.

So for that price can we get back our rated HP (according to the manual) back? If so price seems ok.

UPDATE. Decided to do it myself. Removed all the parts. Two problems. one in the antenna mast and other one in the gear. Can somebody tell me a place to buy these kind of accessories. Obviously, the option is go to panchikawatta or delkanda. But If somebody know an exact place please let me know. Thanks. Asanka
