  1. Why don’t you take it to the agents? or else there is a Nissan specialized person in Kelaniya…do a search you would be able to find the address..
  2. I own a CK2, it does around 9Km/L in city.. I’m using it for last 3 year and pretty happy with it…....
  3. No more VIC now. Only the registration paper. Oh I didnt know that, may be coz I'm using a non-English no vehical now.. Thanks for the info mate, you got lucky someone who cares actually found it. That bread of people are diminishing at a fast pace. I got my wallet back the same way once when I dropped in duplication road. Totally agree on that mate...
  4. VIC (Vehicle identification certificate) is issued to vehicles with English registered nos. Basically its small piece of paper which has the details like engine no, chassis na, registration no, owner’s name, address etc. I had a van sometime ago and for some reason I lost the VIC and I went to RMV to ask for a duplicate, but they said its not possible, and told me without the VIC I cannot transfer the vehicle to any other person. Luckily a good gentlemen has found the VIC somewhere on the road and he has posted it to my home….
  5. Try Cey-Nor in D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo 10
  6. Hi Mate, I used to have an U13 (ARX) and I always took it to P*T S**P for the service.....What kind of modifications are you refering here?
  7. Found a place to fix it , down in Piliyandala Rd in Maharagama..... guy asked me to bring the car with the unit in a weekday morning, and he said he'll fix the circuit. Thanks for all the suggestions mates... Cheers!
  8. I'll try to get it repaired the unit locally, and if i wasn't lucky guess i will go for the this... thanks mate!
  9. Hi Mate, i used to park my car in that car park, but nothing happened apart from the fact that the car is under the direct sun from morning to evening ..... anyways, nowadays most of the car parks state "parking is at your own risk"..
  10. @ sanjeew - Ebay had few units but those are not Mitsubishi compatible mate.. @ DON - Part no is MR200416
  11. I know, i told the same thing to the guy who gave me the idea....1st I will try my best to get it done locally coz couple of days ago i spoke to one of my friend who is in Singapore and he said they have this part there but it would cost me somewhere around Rs.65k to bring it down
  12. I should check the Pajero/Montero support unit and try my luck. One guy at Delkanda even suggested me to remove the complete sunroof unit off (with the glass) and fix a universal sunroof as these kind of parts are very rare to find. Guess as you have suggested repairing the unit would be the option I should try… I shall look for an ECU repair guy. Thanks for the advice mate, appreciate
  13. Thanks for the reply mates, Sales guy at UM told me they have never seen this part before and when I asked whether is it possible to order it down, he said its not possible either since the particular part no does not exists in their DB.
  14. Hi Guys, This is my 1st post here. I own a 96’ Mitsubishi Lancer (CK2 model) & a week ago my sunroof opened on its own as soon as I started the car, and I had to hold the close button for a while (about 5 minutes) to close it. Then on the next day same thing happened, but it never closed. So I took it to my usual garage and they checked all the fuses/relays and wiring which seems to be ok and then removed the hoodlining/rooflining and took a part call sunroof control unit. The garage guy told me that I have to replace this part since that cannot be repaired (basically circuit was burst). So I went to the agents, and to every shop in Panchikawatte and “watta” (next to the p’watta bridge), & finally to Delkanda, but no one has even heard of this part. So if anyone of you knows a place or a person whom I can contact to get this part kindly let me know – big help guys. Cheers.
