  2. Hey bro?? Machan try the kenwood Dvd player and the model number is ( DDX4038bt). I got put recently for my corolla luxel.
  3. You could for a corolla 121G, and also Corolla luxel(122,1.8), Highest grade, is also available within your budget.
  4. Mazda 3 is a good choice since you are worried with the resale value then toyota is ideal. Including in your budget corolla 122 luxel(1800cc) btw the year 2002-2003 will be available.
  5. Hi? Isnt the corolla luxel (ZZE-122) timing chain different to a normal 121 coz that comes with a 1zz-fe engine, (1800cc engine)?
  6. I got fuel figures of 16 km outstation on my 122 luxel(1800cc).
  7. The reason export models are cheaper becoz some even dont come with ABS and except for the GLi most of the xli and lx limited do not come with digital aircon buttons and outside temp options in the interior. Some come with power shutters and some dont. Some models are with teak panels and some dont have teak panels. Basically it varies vehicle by vehicle. Most of them do good on fuel. But my advice gor a good JDM model as they are more comfortable than the export ones. If you could come across a G-limited Jdm model then go for it.
  8. To start with the Japanese domestic models, its starts with X,G(1500cc), G-limited and Luxel. Luxel is the highest grade of the corolla series which comes with a chasis (ZZE 122) and has a 1800cc engine with unique auto tranny. G and X does good on fuel for short distance. Xli,Lx limited and Gli( 1600cc) are all export models and they come with lesser options when compared to the JDM models in the 121 series. From my piont of view, i am using a 122(luxel) in the city with mix traffic with sensible driving i get figures of 11km per litre. Outstation get figures of 15+ km. Quite happy with the fuel figures for a 1.8 litre engine. Btw if you do not wish to drive a 1.8 litre coz of fuel concerns then a G or a G limited grade would be ideal.
  9. Allion is heavy and more spacious than the axio. But When comparing the allion A18(ZRT 260)1.8cc and the axio LUXEL(ZRE142 1.8cc), the axio luxel comes with triptonic, cruise control, auto parking assit and where as the allion does not. Both of the 1.8 cc engines come with DUAL VVTI technology.
  10. Hey bro? )From my personal view best engine oil for the 121 X would be the toyota oil. Well for my 122 luxel(1.8) i am using WURTH coolant and i have no problems with it. Toyota oil with thicknesss (10W 30) is perfect for 1300 cc and 1500 cc toyota engines).

    Corolla Luxel(122)

In the city a 121 G would do better on fuel than the 122 but not by much. But out of colombo 122 does better on fuel than the 121G. Well regarding the price 122 luxel between the yaer 2000-2002 will be around 2.7-3.0 million. But the 122 luxel of the year 2005 and above would be around 3.7-3.9 million. Here in Sl i have rarely seen a luxel of the year 2006 and that was in nugegoda.

    Corolla Luxel(122)

Bro using a luxel 122. In the city it gives me 11 and if driven more sensibly you can get 12. Out of colombo i get figures of 15+ km per litre. Quite satisfied with the fuel figures for a 1800cc engine. Perfect combination between economy and engine power.
  14. There are goods and the bads while using a 4wd on lankan roads. But in my opnion i think a 4 wheel drive is not too important here in Sl. As mentioned above by our brothers there will be higher wear and tear and the fuel consumption will be abit higher.
