  1. cant stop laughing XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
  2. huh!
  3. i own a FB-14 currently and used an FNB14 some time back, nice comfortable ride and yes, low ground clearance. can be a bit of a problem, but not a big issue.. my advice, if your friend is buying a car, make sure he take a mechanic with him thats one mistake i made.
  4. Agree with Crosswind on that.. every second hand car i buy. i always keep aside some money for repair's, and always had some hidden repair's on every vehicle.. not everyone loves a car and uses it with care.. so keep some money aside.. only after you buy a car.. you get to know its repairs mate.. good luck
  5. a the g touring is a nice one mate.. god i miss this car now
  6. it comes in both versions mate.. the only different i see is the name and the badge on the front grill... mine was a corolla though... here some pictures of it
  7. agreed.. the korean vehicles are slowly getting a good reputation now a days.. for me.. the Sorento is breath takeing.. it stands out from other SUV's of its class
  8. no prob mate.. good luck and i kinda hope you go for a toyota first.. i had a corolla EE103 (elephant back) for nearly 2 years... NEVER let me down.. NEVER..
  9. if i were you.. id go for the kia sorento.. i dont know much about korean vehicles i have 2 friends who uses Ssanyong Reztons one uses it monthly to go to jaffna from kandy.. and its such a nice suv but he said the seats arnt big enough for a suv (dont know why though) and the other said that the interior start to fall apart slowly.. but thats ssangyoung.. hope i could be any help mate.. good luck
  10. the starlet is a good start dude.. i say since its your first stick with a toyota or a nissan.. my suggestion.. Starlet, Nissan FB-13 or 14, a corolla AE100 (if lucky a AE110), a lancer CK1/CK2
  11. i like both tbh.. but like a Porsche a bit more.. since its a bit more practical in day to day life and also got a chance to ride on a 1997 911 carrera of my cousins. once when i visited UK sweet ride went from Birmingham to London on it. too bad i couldn't drive at that time and for some weird reason.. i like the new Porsche panamera too looks big and scary and at the same time a bit elegant
  12. sounds reasonalbe.. better than a noisey 3 wheeler.. but just my thought cant you see theres some sneaky thing going behind i mean nano just got launched and a cab service started out of it.. aint it like a huge marketing scheme going on... oh btw.. unlike our 3 wheel aiyya's and mama's it cant do over 40kmph till its first service so guys expect a slow ride home hehe

    New Car

suggestion.. if fuel economy really doesnt matter much... i suggest a Mazda Axela mate.. nice looking car for that price..
  14. Rover.. my Respect man.. atleast you give advice and clarifications based on real life experience rather than links that are googled..
  15. lol.. i heard this before.. Toyota Hybrids, if the battery dies or some electronic problem arise, you cant start the car, but honda hybrids can be started from the petrol engine dont know weather its true or not though..
  16. go ahead atleast its a "Real car"
  17. And Yet with nearly 12 year "Real life" experience, you didn't know there were hub caps.. the little boy (10 y.o) front door whose dad owns a 2008 prius told me that there are wheel cups i don't hate prius or hybrids {love the technology, hate the tree huggers who drive them slow}, and i cant judge them because i never used one.. (something i learn from AL) but dude.. you are just embarrassing yourself showing your such a know-it-all, when you clearly don't know much about them.. who the hell can own a car and not know about its wheels?...
  18. Model: Nissan FB-14 Transmission Automatic Fuel Type: Petrol 90 Octane Fuel Cons City With A/C: 10 Outstation: Not Driven Yet..
  19. so true.. there will be some idiots who will still buy it
  20. nice
  21. its just the starting price mate.. i reckon a full option a/c colored bumper model will cost nearly 11-12 lacks you got to be pretty nuts to buy one if you ask me
  22. my question.. Ever head about the honda fcx clarity?? why cant people make those.. those cars are lot more powerful than silly Hybrids if you really want to save the planet (tree huggers).. why not buy one of those.. and it actually even looks better yea true.. there arnt any fuel stations in SL yet.. but it can be build
  23. haha true., "spice jet" to the rescue
  24. true.. since i once tried to drive it.. i can assure..its really a Cheap Plastic Garbage.. i saw an Honda Civic EG7 advertised for 6 grand.. why buy a "TATA" an Indian car..
  25. mate.. i almost drove a nano last month when i was in india.. one of my relations bought it (a lady) im a big person... my right leg kept banging on the door when i press the accelerator (just like when i tried the geely panda) and inside its more plasticky than a Chinese or a Malaysian car.. my relative had the basic ver. with the black bumpers, i wont say its a really bad car. like you said.. its get more for what you pay thing.. but for srilankan crappy roads and heat and the 700,000 price tag.. its not worth it.. but still if the price tag was lowerd (which will never happen since this is sri lanka) its worth for small families. peace mate ^^v
