Hi I'm using Suzuki swift 2004 HT51S , I experience this issue .... * Drive few meters stop on a slope , turn to "P" release the break ( car moves forward and stop ) When I'm trying to shift to "D" big noise hearing from the engine side , * Drive few meters stop the car , turn to "P" , without taking the foot off from the break , turn back to D Then im not hearing the sound > Recently I did a ATF Change My be my explanation not clear , Please question me and help me to solve this issue .. :)

I forgot to mention this , in previous posts , I have experienced a engine jerk. This does not happen often.When using my car every day this is not happening.After not using car for 2-3 days I experience this issue.

I contacted the previous owner , and he told me that when he was using , he checked and got to know that the oxygen sensor is weak , is that the same thing called airflow sensor. And where can I check , any electrician can check it ? He is from outside colombo and couldn't help on it. Due to this condition , will the engine consume more fuel.

5-10 min of idling, I just wnted to check whether its getting normal , so kept engine running until it heats , just to clarify , is this happens because of oxigen sensor , or need injector clean or engine tuneup , I heard that there may be that sort of issues , is there anything related go that .thanks

Hi All Im using Suzuki swift 1.3 / HT51S. When I start the car in the morning its rpm is like 1000. after few seconds rpm goes to like 1400 and varies from 1100 to 1400 . If i keep it without doing anything sometime later its going down. But if I put to "D" or "R" is goes to 1000. But this happens in the morning , after engine heats up , when i start the car rpm is like 600~700. Is it normal or is there anything wrong. Please help.

New shock will cost like 8000 * 2 .

Hi All, need to replace Suzuki swift shock absorbers and i found a place that , they take my shock absorbers and give repaired shocks.Any body have used this kind of shocks.They give 6 months warranty.Any idea about this ??????

is it inside the seat , do i have to remove the seat for that , what would be the best approach.

Hi harshan I checked under the driving seat , but it seems ok , one end goes to the belt cliper and other end goes under the carpet , and there is a connector in between those two points it also seems ok. Do you know where the other end goes.I checked the fuse board under the dash , there are lots of fuse named for different functions , do i need to check if any of those missing , or removed from that. Any other socket need to connect disconnect? Please advise thanks

Hi All , Im using Suzuki Swift HT51S YOM 2004 , I don't see the seat belt warning light. Recently I bought this car and I dont know whether it is disabled. Is there any way to figure out whether it is disabled by looking at the fuse board or any other component or do I need to check the bulb. Is this function depends on a sensor or any other relay.Please advise me.

Hi All I did a full vehicle inspection with A^^W and they have given following comments. 1. I have used Alto lower arm , alto rack ends for the swift and they are not genuine parts 2. Even I change the stabilizer bush 1month before they all have worn out 3. Caliper pin replace 4. Some thing called ball joint in the rack gone (I don't know what is it) They suggest replace all of the parts. Or replace the rack. 5. Shock mount worn out. 6. I have replace the rack bush , but they also have worn out. Can I use genuine recondition parts for this.What would be the cost of recondition rack. Is the recondition rack comes with rack end tie rod ends and all that. How can I solve this without spending so much of money. Is there any way.What should I do now.Please help.

Hi All, I recently bough Suzuki Swift 2004(Jeep Model) and there were some noises so replaced rack ends ,lower arms , rack bush , stabilizer bushes and steering cross (kuruse) - I dont know the exact word for that . But in bumpy road (walawal thiyena parawal ) I hear a noice which comes under the dash board close to the steering column. This sound was there before replacing the cross. I took my car to 2-3 garages but they couldnt discover it .Please advice me.

Hi All Recently I changed all 4 shocks in my Maruti 800 and it increased comfort level. Can I get an advise on upgrading tire size. Currently having 145/70 R12. What would happen if i use 155/80 R12. Will it scrape the tire. Please advise me.

Thnks for the reply and good explanation don. Thanks again. I replaced all 4 shocks . KYB front oil shocks and rear gas shocks. Much better and better than the genuine shocks I think.I bought them from T**S agencies , H__E P_RK C_RNER.

Thanks Don , luckey007 . I found that there are suitable KYB shocks in the market.will there be any difference if i installed them without changing the springs.
