Guys, what do you think going for a Mazda Butterfly 1997-1998 (1.3c engine) instead of a Kelisa? I have experience driving a Mazda Butterfly and found one of the best cars. Guys, pls help.

Hi guys, I'm planning to purchase a car and I have some requirements as; 1. Should be full option 2. My max budget is 1.3m 3. The engine capacity should be 1.3cc or less (concern about the fuel, prefer a vehicle does minimim 12/per ltr in Col with AC) 4. Not less than year 2000 (manufacturer) 5. Less Maintenance I have a list as well; Kelisa Kia Rio Zen Kia Spectra Panda 1.0 (since 1.3 is not good in fuel) Peugeot 306 I personally prefer Mitsubishi cars but it is not that easy to match my budget. And I like Mazda Butterfly as well but the YOM is 1997 or less for my budget. Please help me to get a clue of a suitable car for my requirements. And guys, I don't like Alto or Maruti...

And what about Mazda Butterfly (1997-2000) 1.3cc Auto and Manual?

Considering all, better to go for a Manual car. I personally love to drive Manual cars but it is easy to drive an Auto with kids. Guys, what about Kia Rio and Accent (2000-2002)? And Micro Panda 1.0C? Please help me to compare Kelisa with Rio and Accent (1.3cc engines).

What about Manual Kelisa 1.0cc? Hope the fuel consumption is better than Auto right?

What about the maintenance of Kelisa? I know Viva Elite is a good car the problem comes due to low ground clearance.

And guys, what about Panda 1.0c ? Never used a Panda... But manual right?

Bro, if the engine capacity is 1.3c or below, the fuel consumption should be low right? I mean not 18km/1l at least 13-14km/1lt ... As mentioned I used a Mitsubishi ASP car which has 1.5cc engine. Very low fuel consumption. So that is why thought to go for a lower engine.

And, I have not seen four door Auto Nissan March cars.

Bro, you can't expect a good income from Medical reps. I know a few working at Swiss Biogenics and they are looking for vehicles for about 25-30k per month. And they run around the country without a limit.

Exactly. That is why I have posted this here to get an advise from an experienced person. I'm planning to rent this car for at least 2-3 years. I know Alto cars are very hardy and easy to maintain as the vehicle is designed for middle level people for daily use.

Hope I can get a good Alto for 12 laks (down payment 2 laks and the rest to lease, at LB Rs. 23000 per month for 10 laks for 5 years).

I spoke to a few cab services and they all have the same story. * They need a driver * No minimum/maximum income guarantee * Deposit needed (like Rs. 10000) * Pay is Rs. 45 per KM. So we need to make a note on the lost KMs after dropping a person to a place and need to come back. So there is a lost. * We will have to do the service/ repairs * Minimum 12hrs needed to run the car If anyone in this forum has given their Alto to a cab/taxi service, please help me to figure this out. * What is the best model of Alto to rent? (Means less repairs and high efficiency) * What is the average income (net) we can gain per month after paying the cab service fee, driver's fee, monthly service fee? * I have never used an Alto before, please help me to understand the maintenance cost (common repairs, part replacements)? * At what time they normally need the car? Hi, I'm planning to sell my car. I have an ongoing lease at LB Finance. I also have a buyer now the problem is transferring the lease. The guarantors signed for my lease making a problem now. I checked with LB Finance and they said that transferring a lease is not possible. The guy who likes to buy the vehicle can spend only 40% of the value. Some advised to go to a lawyer and sign an agreement since the buyer can't do anything since the original book is with LB Finance. But still the same guarantors right? I need your help to get rid of this. Irosh

Guys, The issue was not related to my Steering Fluid. My Timing Belt has broken. Had to drag the car from Wellawatte to Moratuwa last night. But I'm bit scared about the valves since I did try to start the car with the Gear. And two guys pushed the car about few meters too. Hope nothing happened to the Valves . And, still my steering fluid leak issue is there. Need to fix both of them now. I guess time to repair them all and sell the car. Used for more than 2 years and I would say it is a great car and very powerful. Irosh
