  1. Thank you. If on average, if your Auto does 12-13 km/l I think it is very good and that is the range of fuel consumption I am expecting too. Yes, I think I need to go for an engine tune up. Do you have any idea how much Unimo charge for that? Or any other place you've done before/ suggest? "@ Zaffy" Unimo will charge 10000.00 per engine tune up. I would suggest you to go Unimo for engine or gear box related matters. If you take outside you can find places for cheap prize. But there s a risk and im not sure about the quality. I did two tune ups so far i feel it s worth of going for unimo and doing it.
  2. I think watch man gave the correct way doing the calculation. I have a Viva auto and it does 12-13 in average in the city and 15-18 outstation. All these will depend on your driving style , time you are driving. Road condition etc. Even mine sometimes does 9 in a heavy traffic. Also you better inspect your car via Unit#d Mot#rs. I believe that's the best thing rather going other places. There are other maintainance activities you need to do for better fuel consumption like engine tune up for every 20000km. Further change the automatic gear oil if your car s auto in 40000km interval. Bumper guard check with unimo they will tell you what you need to do. since your car s a use in ask unimo to check shock mount caliper pin also. Those are common running repairs come.Further if it is auto car check the breakpad as well. I guess the best thing is take it to unimo and ask technical advisor Randika to do a inspection he will help you what need to be done
  3. @ ninath did you take your car to unimo for inspection
  4. Why you are replacing your tyre in such early stage ? Im using viva elite still using the original tyres and already 46000kms done. Anyway check your owner manual it has the maximum tyre size you can go.
  5. I think 12000 with fixing.
  6. @ ninath Did you check with Thai motors Delkanda and Janatha motors panchikawatta ? One of my friend told Auto park Dehiwela has Viva elite spoilers they do fixing too
  7. @ninath from where you bought the spoiler and what s the cost ? Also do you know any place to fix this
  8. I have the same question. I would like to fix a spoiler to my Viva. However im scared of rust (corrosion) problem. Hence i still did not try
  9. Thanks all.. Do you have any idea about the oil type that we need to add for the compressor and usuall prize of it
  10. Thanks Sampath. I also drive 12000-150000 per year and will plan to replace annually or 10000km by the way does the AC need any service. Usually unimo check the AC gas during the vehicle service intervals. But for AC does it need a specific service ?

    Viva Elite Ac

Hi guys im using viva elite now more than 3 years. I have installed cabin filter to the AC. How often we need to replace this ? Also does AC need a service? What are the things usually do during AC services ? (cooler cleaning ?)
  12. Check with Unimo they will tell what the exact problem is. It may be a small thing to go for a company support. But it might be a solid sollution
  13. @Presealover in your radio there is a button called CLK. Press and wait few seconds you will see the clock start to blink. ( First hours ) Then use the Tune buttons of the radio to adjust the hours. Same you can do for change minutes and seconds
  14. I am planning buy new Suzuki celerio VXI AMT. I need valuable thoughts of the members to finalize it. Below the main concern of me. Planning to use the car for 5 - 7 years at least. 1. Reliability & maintain cost 2. Value for money. 3. Advantages & Disadvantages of the car Thank you in advance. Go for a Viva elite manufacture in 2012 -2014 time. You certantly can use for 5 -6 years. Im using a brand new viva AT now and now more than 3 years. Other than few running repairs there are no other issues. Only thing is now you can not buy a brand new viva coz they stop manufacturing it. Also if you can wait one - two months you can buy brand new Peroduva axia which is going to replace Viva. That can even better than viva elite and you can buy it for 2.5 million See the video bellow.
  15. any update of launching Axia in SL ? I heard prize is 2.6. But not sure which Axia grade it is. There was a news i heard it will launch in June and still unimo doing prize calculation. I'm using Viva elite now and Viva is certantly better than indian cars. So I belive Axia may be even better and have more demand in SL
  16. Well in 1000km service that 's what they usually do. You need to do your next service when you reach 5000km. From there onwards you need to do the service for every 5000km (usual thing ). Any other things that i have to look after during the first 10,000 Km`s? apart from radiator coolant top up, brake oil top up. Since this is a manual Any other things that i have to look after during the first 10,000 Km`s? apart from radiator coolant top up, brake oil top up. Since this is a manual Refer the owner manual it has most of the things we need to do under maintenance.
  17. Guys im planing to buy a original spoiler for my viva elite standard Auto. Does any one have an idea about a place and the prices Also i have a concern about fixing it........ One of my friend told me that it has two nuts at the back side and need to screw the body of the car to fix it. Does that make any effect to the body like Corrosion ? Do you all have any idea of good place to fix it in a proper way. Thank you
  18. How to identify this problem. Other than the point u hv mentioned. Also is there any noice coming. Yes i heard this matter one day when i went to Unimo there were 2 vehicles with Rack end problems
  19. I think they've covered pretty much everything that needs to be done in a standard EFI engine tuneup. "Analyzing Electronics" probably refers to running a diagnostic scan while your car is plugged into an electronic device that displays parameters from all sensors and info Yes i saw this. They used a small electronic hand held device and scan the engine after accelerating. But i think tune up is very expensive if we can find a place in outside that s worth. Coz spark plugs and air filter altogether cost maximum 4500-5000
  20. Guys small thing wanna know.. Does anybody knows a good place in colombo to do the viva elite engine tune. I did with Unimo one time and it s very expensive Also does is necessary to do the tune up every 20000km.. What are the items normally do for tuneup is it air fliter replace , plugs change and throttle body clean
  21. They told me it is due to carbon and other dirty stuff in the injectors.
  22. Changed the air-filter Changed the spark plugs Clean the injectors Check the engine using a hand held device after tune up
  23. i did the engine tune up recently and now there s no sound or trouble of the engine. But the cost is bit high in Unit#d Mot#rs for the tune up.. more than 10000..
  24. Guys im using a Viva elite car now. Planing exachange or sell my car and go for a Suzuki Swift Jeep model (used one) Auto gear one Is it a trouble free car. What are the common problems. Please share your thoughts
