Hi Guys! Is there a FWD variant of Sorento which is more economical? I am also looking for a Sorento 2012-2013 (simply because of the 7 seater requirement) and got advised by an expert that FWD variant does better in fuel than AWD as the 4x4 component itself is eating out the energy. But to be more realistic, I believe almost all Sorentos in the market are AWDs (advertised). So is there a way of knocking off the AWD option in normal drive?

Is that so?? Thought 1.3 AT does better than that. I was used to a MT for nearly 2 years, therefore thought driving habit is causing the consumption issue. Anyways would like to get hold some contact info. to go for a tune up later coz am experiencing a drop in speed at some level (recently I was at katunayake expressway doing 115kmph) when I felt further acceleration was pulling the car back. Anyways a reliable place to do a check up would be handy. Thanks mate for the info.

I also looking for a place to do a EFI tuning for my Mazda BJ3P Auto car bought 1 month back... Don't have a much of an issue as at date though I did some long distance travelling (170km up and down) but experiencing low fuel consumption in Colombo, even less than 8kmpl. Please advise a place to do an EFI tune up so I could increase the fuel economy. Thanks in advance, Prasanna

Guys,,, need your help to pick a car within 1.4 Mn to 1.7 Mn which is registered with 10 years (obviously 1st registration after 2003 June)... I have been searching many sites and finally decided Panda (Not a Maruti fan) is the best choice with regard to the price, less maintainance cost and considering looks. I love to go for a Mitsibishi CS 1 ot a Honda Civic within the given specifications but could not come across one yet... Need your expertise on making my move. Thanks!
