  1. You can buy from E bay or any other online store providing international shipping , ask the seller to mark a lower value on the package if you do not want to pay an insane tax. I did it once, for a Mugen front lip, reached within 3 weeks. Look for PU products, better than ABS plastic in my opinion. http://www.ebay.com.sg/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=civic+es1+bumper&LH_PrefLoc=2&_arm=1&_armm=63&_ruu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.sg%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3Dcivic%2Bes1%2Bbumper%26_arr%3D1
  2. I am not 100% sure about that, Did some research and this is what I could find. Even though this is not a very reliable source (Wikipedia), they have not mentioned any plant in India for Accords, in this Article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Accordhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Accord Then again, in this article, they have mentioned about a production of Accords , since 1995, in India. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Honda_assembly_plants So I am also confused. I'd like to suggest you this VIN decoder, It will show you some details, such as the country of assembly, specific plant (sometimes) body style, engine type etc. For my car, It gave me the Accord plant in Ohio, USA. I believe, all the brand new 6th Gen Accords ( American Accords ) would give the same result.
  3. Sira, There are two models, American Accord (CF9) and Euro Accord (CF4). I am using a CF9 model ( 120,000km on the clock). I will list some pros and cons, personally I have experienced. Pros 1) It has a good suspension setup, front double wishbone and rear multi link, combined with the weight of the car, it is comfortable, steady in high speeds and cornering. 2) you can reach 100kmph within 8.0-9.0 seconds, with 2000CC motor (F20B5). 3) You can find lot of after market parts online, because this was the best selling car in USA within 1998-2002 era 4) Personally I like the looks, obviously that is one of the reasons I bought the car 5) If you are concerned about the fuel efficiency, I'd say it is not bad. It does 11-13 kmpl on long runs but drops down to 7-9 kmpl in city driving ( Mine is an Automatic ) 6) Interior is spacious and boot space it more than enough for a car in that class. 7) Good visibility, when you are sitting on the driver's seat, which makes it easy to drive the car 8) Personally, it is a pleasure to drive this machine, I just wish mine was a manual, but couldn't find a manual in good condition when I bought this. Cons 1) Power to weight ratio of this car is not the best you can ask for, 6th gen Accord is popular as a heavy car. 2) This car is popular in USA for automatic transmission failure, it says 5-7% failure rate ( I did not experience it ) 3) Finding spare parts could be tricky, but you can always go to Agents. 4) Most of the Accords during 1998-02 , came down as Brand New vehicles. And those cars are equipped with OBD1 ECUs, cars came down as reconditioned are equipped with OBD2. 5) You MUST use Honda power steering oil and Honda ATF otherwise it will lead you to a disaster. * So far I had to replace the alternator, apart from routine maintenance For more info, you can refer http://honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=1502084
