  1. These figures are from Alion 240. It does not come with a fuel consumption meter. And, I have been using this Tachyon Tool for about 6 months and I find it fairly accurate. Other than giving 25 individual trip data, it gives average value for these 25 trips. So it’s easy to compare with actual. Also few of my friends have tried this Tachyon Tool in a new Corolla 2014 in US and a Premio 2014 in SL. According to them, this unit is accurate than the values shown in their cars.
  2. I have tried Tachyon in several Toyota vehicles and as they have claimed, it was working with all of Toyota JDMs. vehicles incluede: Corolla 121 2004 IST 2008 Vitz 2008 Premio 2014 Corolla 2014 (US) Allion 240/260 I got the Blutooth verion with Android app http://www.tachyontechtools.com/?product=obd-ii-t100-bt-toyota/
  3. Round trip to Warakapola This was done early morning when there was no traffic.
  4. wow.. somany "thel suddhos"!!
  5. I like the way you think... hmm... nextime Im going to buy a old old car for around 300k. Thanks bro for operning my eyes!!
  6. 81km/h in traffic ?
  7. I didn’t use 50 because car was shifting back and forth between 3rd to 4th, and it was doing about 15km/l And yes I was suspired when other vehicles overtake be like bullets.
  8. 80kmps - No can do, agreed!! 80kmph - its not hard to achieve that speed in SL Highways and in most of Main Roads
  9. I also wanted to find out the optimum speed for my vehicle and carried out a small experiment in southern highway. Car used is Toyota Alion 240 2004 1.5L and I used Tachyon T1 BT tool and its Android app to do the experiment. Results: 75kmph – 19km/l 80kmph – 21 km/l 85kmph – 20.5km/l 90kmph – 19km/l 100kmph – 17km/l So, 80kmph is the optimum speed for my vehicle.
