    Sry If I spammed the forum. I thought that high-level categories are more important than the user or the vehicle. That's why I split. the questions to different threads. According to http://www.howacarworks.com/basics/how-the-starting-system-works to solenoid act as a relay. The "CLICK" sound is the relay on sound. I checked the battery wires. They are properly contacted. I saw that brushes are properly contacted. Thus I guess the solenoid's main switch contact point are week to pass the current. Can that be the case? If so we need to replace it right? This happens between two months.

    When I was driving a 1993 Ford Laser in the on the high level road, one of the radiator horse started leaking inside and unnoticed. Heat didn't went up significantly since I was driving slow. Then I entered the highway and speed was increased. Just after 4km, it got overheated. We kept it to cool and put water later with the help of highway people. Then I drive another 10km and parked the vehicle. Following day when we start it, water comes out from the head gasket. I think it got damaged and it needed to be replaced. Some facing need to be done to the engine head also. So where can I get these gasket and what will be the replacement cost?

    One day my brother was driving my L200 1999 2 Wheel and it got stopped suddenly because he lost the clutch balance. After that when we hit the ignition, nothing happened. Only a "TIK" sounds comes up. We thought the starter motor was jammed and after hitting it few times smoothly, it worked. Another day same happens. But that time issue was there very long. Thus I went to a motor repair person. He inspected the starter motor, disengaging clutch. His guess was, motor's brushes lost its contact. Thus he did a service to the motor by cleaning the contacts and all the other parts. After that it was OK. Today again same thing happens two times. "TIK" noise and no ignition. But without hitting the motor it worked the 2nd or 3rd ignition. Do I need to look at other issue? Thanks Andun

    I am good user of online purchasing. Other than that I did the same search on ali-express. Same situation of the price. But they have some dealers. The delivery time is the issue. Previously it took more than 1.5 month to get the item. One of the order didn't came and it was a mess to get refunds. That's why I am trying to get some help from a guys who may have info about a local place!

    Both options want work. Ebay has only two sellers with this type of badge and it cost more than 10k to import. Also they are not top rate dealers. Tried most of the shops in Panchikawatta, Darly road and Delkanda. No luck. Also meegoda number is not working!

    Is there a good place around Colombo to Maharagama, Malambe area to purchase 4 new tyres for a l200 cab and give the old to them to have a good discount. The old tyres have one only 10k kms.

    Hi All, I have a L200 252-xxxx model and I did break system maintenance recently. Maintenance include front break repair kit addition, back break washer replacing and cleaning break drums. Also there are no leaks in the break lines. My vehicle's tyre size is 205/60/15. Also it's front front tyres are new and back tyres are bit old. I have attached photos of them. Recently I got in to a accident where the vehicle going in front got stopped due to gear box failure and I hit it from the back. I use breaks as much as I can and I heard the sound of wheels slipping on the road while break is locked. I know this happens because it doesn't have ABS and friction power is not enough to stop the vehicle. There is a part which need to be done by the driver. If we keep that part aside, What I want to know is, are there any improvements which can be done to reduce this slipping. Increasing the tyre size? Possible sizes? Adding new break pads, liners? Thanks!

    Today I went to a garage and replaced a rubber over-ring and a washer in the top part of the power steering box. Still no leak is visible. Also there were no damages according to the mechanic. There was a play in the steering. That seems to be also fixed due to the fix. Thanks you people for the instructions.

    In the steady condition I feel the same. But dont know in the drive. I didn't try that Also there were no leak or reduction of oil level before. This happens in two days.

    I have a 252-xxxx L200 2 wheel version. After the regular service which has done few two days ago, I hear a metal scratching noise when I turn the steering wheel. Today the sound got increased more and more and the steering got hard to turn. As soon as I came home, I checked the power steering pump. All the oil has gone. There is no leak in the pump horse lines. But in the power steering box, oil was all over the lower part. I put new oil and it took around 500ml to bring the oil level to max. I whipped out the oil on the box and chassis.Then I started the engine and turned the wheel many times.I cant see any new oil leak. But haven't driven after that. Is it OK to drive in this condition? what can be the reason for leak? Thanks! PS - These images are taken before whipping out the leaked oil.

    I have a l200 vehicle. There is small oil leak from threads of the oil sump screw. I tried to replace a new screw from a iron work place. They increased the screw hole width using a tap cutter and put a new screw. Also they have put a copper washer to the screw. But still the oil leak is there What should be the possible solution? Thanks!

    I have a Mitsubishi L200 252-xxxx vehicle. K14TJUNSR model. In that there is a old and damaged heat insulator between dashboard side of the engine compartment. Is there a place to repair it or get a new one? Thanks!

    Hi one of my cousin is looking for his first car. What he like is a Nissan Presea car which has the 301-xxxx number. Even it has a similar engine of FB14, I thought the car is bad for a first car because of it's rare body parts, frame less doors etc. I prefer a 110 or CK2 or FB14 over that. What is your opinion on that? PS - He dont have a much knowledge about auto mobile.

    Hi, Solved the issue! My vehicle's previous owner bugger has repaired the wire harness to replace the rectifier circuit of alternator. Some how the oil pressure sensor wire was broken in the middle and the part to sensor was missing. Also the other end of the broken wire was hidden in side the wire harness. Thus had to remove the I Panel and navigated via the wire harness starting from the indicator bulb. Later found the other. This diagram was helpful in doing the thing + your answers. Thanks!

    I have a Mitsubishi L200 252- one. In that one, when I switch on the vehicle, few bulbs light in the instrument panel. Those are the battery charging warning, fuel filter warning and heater plug warning. When I hit the ignition, those switches off. Today I had the chance to drive another L200 of same model. In that one oil level indicator also lights up before ignition. So does my one has a trouble in the sensor? What are the default warning lights which lights before ignition? Also who to check all these warning lights and sensors work? (Some of these indicators haven't it ever, I dont know what they are since the signs are not visible.) Thanks!

    Searched every where in Delkanda, Panchikawatta etc. Didn't found the exact part. But found a part with same dimensions but screw hols different in place. So purchased that and installed it after modifying the hols. Unit#d Mot#rs has the part. But that is 30000. I got this part for 3500

    I have a Mitsubishi L200 2 wheel vehicle(252-xxxx). It's radiator fan cover(Shroud) is broken. When I drive the vehicle, the heat level is normal. But when I park the vehicle with AC on, heat goes up very fast. When the AC is off, the rate of increase is low. I guess the rate has increased due to the above reason of not having the fan cover. I tired to find a used one. Still not found. There are brand new ones in Unit#d Mot#rs. But the price is very high. What is your idea of not having it ? Will it damage the engine? Thanks Andun
