Whats the suitable oil from the above mentioned mobil oils. Car- fb15 2003 mileage 140,000km (genuine). Option 01- Mobil 1000/ 10w-30 Option 02- Mobil 2000/ 15w-40 No repairs have been done with engine.

Nope it doesn't go worse with load added. Just the same. I will be seeing the agents next week for a complete tune up. Will keep posting the results after the job is done. Can i stay with the car at the agents while the job is been done. Since it is my first time to the agents i doubt it.

MV 5. Yes my tpm fluctuates between 550-700 at idle and most of the time stays at 600-650. Could it be due to blocked injectors or dusty throttle body. Since the fuel consumption is not high is it ok to use an cleaner to the petrol tank to get rid of the idle rpm fluctuation?

Is this only due to a faulty/blocked pcv valve?? What does the pcv valve do?

I have examined oil vapours in the air filter of my Nissan FB15 2003 car. Mileage is 145,000km(genuine).Air filter was changed 4000km ago and at the service i observed oil vapours when the service guy used compressed air to clean the filter. After the service have driven another 500km and when checked with the filter i noticed some oil on my hand.Oil level remains at max until the next service. Fuel consumption also not bad. Spark plugs plus throttle body have been cleaned recently. Only thing i have noticed is pick up has been slightly reduced during the past months.

Mr Dammika is he equipped with ultrasonic injector cleaning?

How much did it cost for the tune up at the agents? Also what was included in it?

Spoke with toyota lanka and they said 600-650 idle rpm at gear position D is normal for all new premios/allions/axios. Non hybrid toyota car users please state your idle values if diffirent from mine.

What type of plugs(Iridium or normal) does axio 2010 models have?? Iridium plugs last long and apart. From its life time is there any benefits in using them?

My premio 2009 idle rpm remains at 600-650 at gear position D with an slight vibration which may be normal. Since I'm new to the vehicle bit confused with the situation mileage 60,000km without any previous service records. Doing an engine tune up could solve the problem. If so any place apart from the agents around Colombo suitable for my car model. I have heard of Mr Dammika Fernando at borella but have never heard of him undertaking new Toyota models. Please help!

Hi! My axio 2011 has done 65000km and as the second owner i haven't got any service rocords of the previos engine tune ups. Recently i have noticed a slight vibration when the engine is at idle(gear position at D). All filters have been changed at the recent service. Also the engine seems to be bit slow at idle. Fuel consumption is normal. Any good place for an engine tune up around wattala other than the agents?

No I haven't got such an "infor" option. Have got no user manual also due to a JDM version.

My average fuel consumption meter(Axio G grade 2008) indicates as 13.1km/l which doesn't change at all. Bought the car last month and have driven both city limits and out station for a total mileage of 400km.Only the Current fuel consumption meter changes instantly. Is there any mileage or time period for the average fuel consumption meter to change/stabilize? I have refuelled once. Experts please help. Thank you.

Hi, Average fuel consumption meter indicates as 12.4km/l on outstation travelling. Is this an odd value? Usually driving with eco light on and rpm under 2000.All services done on time. Current ODO meter at 60,000km.

Engine tune up, especially cleaning throttle body could solve your problem.

Nope engine won't get switched off. Only the rev gets slow to 550-600 which I think is bit slow. No other issue than that. What is the idle rpm value in NZE141 1.5L engines?

Dear Crosswind Thank you for yours advice. Only thing in worried is the rpm which comes to 550 when I apply brakes and when the car comes to a halt.No vibration or smoke observed. Fuel consumption is 12.5km/l on outstation running. How to use a carb cleaner and what brand? Valuable advices are appreciated. Thank you
