actually, I got the ABS light on for while and it turned off. This happened several times. So I get the front sensors cleaned and ultimately this sound comes at very low speeds. then mechanic says it's the ABS rotor issue. is that right and will that fix the problem. ???

Hi friends, I'm experiencing some sound from ABS unit.it comes only at very low speeds applying breaks. It's like pedal stuck and go down. Mechanic says it's the ABS pump. Indication light for ABS is on for sometimes and goes off before sound comes. Now no light and but this sound. Please advice me what is the cheapest fix. Can we repair the ABS PUMP. How much to replace. Where can I buy. My car is Chevrolet cruze. I'm from Avissawella

I have checked with a mechanic and he adjust the rack mentioning there is a play in the rack. after adjuting the wheel is bit tighter. still that metal hitting sound comes but not like previous(less). Mechanic mention that sound come from the connecting arm of the rack. for fixing this, he mentioned that dismetal all rack components and fill greese in that joint ??? do you get this could you give me some advice to move on? rack bushes are fine as per the mechanic

Hi all, My car is chevorlet cruze 2004. it's having an sound comming when driving over stony roads.( dak dak sound) i think it's a steering rack issue. dig me in some ideas ? how bad is it? and how to slove the prob? and the cost thanks

Hi all, Issue comes again bit seriously. I have noticed the vibration got heavy when the AC turned on. And the vibration is so serious when the reverse gear position. I got to tell you car didn't run about 7days it was at home. Last week the issue disappeared. And after keeping car stopped for a week it became bit heavy. Need know what is this please give me a tip. Thanks.

I have done the oil filter clean along with and add extra engine oil as per the mechanic's guide. now the issue is fixed for now. anyway thank you for guidance hope i can do as u told if this come up again thanks again.

Well thank you. I didn't do a tune up since I bought this recently. I checked with a mechanic and told the engine oil filter cleaning may fix the prob. I will do things as u mentioned if the prob not fixed. It's highly appreciated.

Hi, I owe Chevrolet Cruze 2004 car. I feel some engine vibration( not continues just peak and comes after few seconds) whlie on D and break applied. This also ocuurs P and N positions bit lightly than on Drive position. There is no vibration while driving. Engine mounts are ok. Please help to figure out this issue.thank u.

Hi, This is my first post on auto lanka. I really appreciate your feedback on my issue. I have recently noticed there is some huge sound in car rear wheels. I guess the problem is rear axle bearings. Sound look like bit of wow wow...when going over 50kmph. I need some advice on this. How bad is this. Do i need to do a quick repair. If the prob is bearings give me a hint abt the cost. Car is Chevrolet Cruze 2004 limited.
