@peugeot407 It's a local electrician and he knows about BSI. Lately found out that there was nothing to do with the security system it was the starter motor with worn-out brushes. @sadhath no there's no such thing. [SOLVED] First I thought it was something to do with the BSI, because of the new security system but it wasn't. It was the the starter motor with worn brushes. Thanks all for quick reply.

Hi all, Peugeot 406 2000 made 1.8 16v car not starting from key after trying to set a new car alarm system & disabled it after couldn't unlock . battery is in good condition & push start works. What would be the problem here? [SOLVED] It was the starter motor with worn-out brushes. Going to replace the brushes.
