wrong The Driver went straight without turning and the car didn't rolled at all, it just hit the barriers, two concrete posts, tritel phone booth and finally it hit the Electracity board huger wiring roll and stopped, other than the body damage Engine, Gearbox, all axles, brake disks, drive shaft, exhaust, suspension, read diff are all broken, anyway since the court case is still going on i dont want to mention the speed he was driving. No matter what car you drive if u have the luck u can escape, when u see these pics can u believe both driver and the passenger walked out of the car without a single scratch even ?

Cannot Slow Down The Idle Speed !

BTW is this is DIY job ? clean the throttle, TPS, and still if the idle is too high then u can reduce the idle from the accelerator cable, but if u not familiar with this, then take it to a garage cus sometimes when u reduce the idle too much for non AC when u turn on the AC it drops more, -
when it comes to Handling the STi had TEIN suspension, modified brakes (slotted disk) and many more upgrades on suspension and brakes, (the car was stripped to reduce weight too) therefor the STi was fantastic when it comes to handling , Legacy still has the stock brake system and suspension so till the owner (suranga) upgrade the suspension and brakes legacy handling is not that good, when it comes to comparing the power, as i mentioned in another thread @ high boost the Air temp is going up rapidly, so whatever the boost car runs Air is hot, after he get the 6262 DBB 800cc injc, FMIC, wastgates, etc for sure it will be very fast, later the gear box will be changed, suspension and brakes will be upgraded then it will be awesome experience At the moment im driving lancer CK2, so when i get some free time i will sell this and start another Subaru project

if a slightly modified Legacy manage to beat a WRX then the WRX has to be a shitty slow car btw like to know who did those mods and number plate of the car

Legacy weight one and half tons so even it pumps 280 u wont experience any fun as a modified Sti, i have driven modified Sti for 2 and half years and driven my friends legacy too, (high boost setups), Sti ran around 1.4 and legacy 1.6 with hell of lods mods with single turbo setup, both cars are damn fun to drive too, but Stock cars are dead boring for ME

yeah i do remember, somewhere in Dehiwela ryte ? that time it was runing damn rich and the car backfires alot, now its not backfiring but having an issue with the IC unable to cool the air and the Air temp is going up rapidly after a run,

At the Moment the car is runing TD04 + Stock intercooller + IC water spray, with high boost the Air Temp is going up rapidly, so hopefully in this month the Turbo will be changed and a new FMIC will be installed.

In TT legacy's around 4500rpm there is a huge lag till 5000 to 5200, as i heard there is a valve that keeps exhaust gas entering to the 2nd turbo till a certain RPM. in sequential turbo setups one spools low, then at higher it kicks out and the other one kicks in, valley of death (VOD) in between it. the vale that prevent gas entering to the 2nd turbo is controlled by the computer, so remapping the ECU, changing the exhaust system and down pipe to bigger size help to reduce VOD. anyway the both turbos are smaller size so other that wasting time doing mods for VOD its always better to remove both turbos and replace with a single turbo, (TD04, TD05H, IHI VF XX ) can be found in SL, then change the exhaust system (4 down, 3 exhaust). No lag, no VOD, more power. But its very important to identify the different between hesitation and VOD. Hesitation is caused by the bad plugs, coil, grounding etc.

Gear Box issues are there in the B4's, gen 1 WRX's and STi's too, but there are more issues like weak Center diff, pistons are not that strong so its always safe to keep the stock boost, Twin turbo system has some issues too and its always better to replace it with a single turbo, maybe something like TD05H or a good IHI VF, also there are some Exhaust system issues like the down pipe plate blocking the waste gate outlet. up pipe cats can damage the turbo, All of these issues are very easy to sort out

agree BTW its nice to see you all creating Fb groups and try to make things happen but there is no point inviting every tom and jerry in ur FB friends list and end of the day as usual the bikers, few cars with neons were there, the last time i came to GP there were no proper cars, every day two or three Honda's race with each other. now the SOHC boys are not there, very few super cars, also there are set of people who hate when they hear GP and Drags, ignore them, all u guys has to do is try to contact the old Drag guys who comes now and organize a good event Also AL is not a good place to talk, about Drags wrong crowd

yeah both evo's were white those days, sorry mate no idea about Shamins EVO, That Ford event ended funny way, both cars were head to head and as always no one knew who won, but that was so fun, yeah i do remember that Soluna and asankas Honda gang too. the first ever Drag car i saw was Dilon's AC3, and hes the man responsible me coming to Drags too Me and Ashan was in same batch , Tharindu was one batch senior to us and Diloan was out of the school that time

The best two Drag races i have ever seen was Shamins Evo4 vs Ashans Evo3 and Monas Ford Laser vs Ashans Ford, that was so fun, mona came with no doors, buffers etc,

in last one year there is a set of bikers who come to Drags every Saturday and do up and down runs all the time, ride on wrong side, do stunts and when they see a car is moving they follow the car and try to race, sometime back one biker crashed with a merc and after few weeks the CBR guy crashed, after one month we went to see whats going on, the bike gang is there and no car can do runs cus they will follow u, after few weeks we heard the pink Honda crashed, dint went there for past 6 months so dont know whats going on now.
