I'm not too sure about the 206, according to the 'top gear readers survey from last year, the worst cars to own are: 2005 Top Gear Survey - the Last 10 (Ranking: Make - Model) 150: Citroën Xsara 151: Peugeot 206 152: Renault Mégane (Nov '02 on) 153: Rover 25 154: Fiat Stilo 155: Mercedes M-Class 156: Renault Laguna 157: Renault Espace 158: Peugeot 307 these are worst in list of 158! http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/survey/last_10.shtml It's always best to go in for the car in the highest grade ie the Cefiro.. if your getting it unreg. it unlikelly to give you any prob during its first few years of use- after that you can just sell it and let the next owner worry about the 'growing pains'!!
