Sorry guys, I've been on a training course all day, didn't have access to the net. Yea, sadly I'm in the UK right now, I'd love to be in Sri Lanka and drag with you guys! But then again I probably won't be able to afford the Type-R back home. Yea, its nice to drive. I only got it recently and I love thrashing it. When it hits the VTEC at 5500RPM you get a sudden surge of power, it feels like a turbo has kicked in. And the handling is insane. I've hit 140mph, and it was still very stable. Albertho, the cheapest price I've found for the Bridgestone Potenza's was £105 each. And the Type-R does chew through them pretty quick if you keep caining the car. I have about 3mm left in my front tires, so I've been looking to get some tyres too. Personally I wouldn't go for the Bridgestones again, they are crap in the wet, noisy as hell and wears down like there's no tomorrow. And they are meant to be pretty good all round. I've heard Kumho's and Toyo's are meant to be really good wet wheather tyres, but I guess that doesn't matter in Dubai. If you want performance and want to spend some money get some Michelin Pilot Exalto, they are wicked tyres but cost £150 each.

Civic Type-R (Euro-R) Manufactured - 2002 Got it three months ago. Sports exhaust (non performance). No other mods, except for I run it on Shell Optimax petrol (98 octane rating), apparantly it gives 13bhp extra on the Type-R. But haven't really tested it on a rolling road.

Yea true, the new Cosworth engine's quite powerful, but apparantly Williams is getting some vibrations in the early testing. But we will only see who's fast and who's not in the first race in Baharain.

I've been a big F1 fan for a while now. Can't wait for this year's season to begin, just over a month to go now! Toyota is gonna kick ass! I drive a Honda now but I'm still loyal to Toyota. The new season's going to be interesting with all the rule changes and there are some new teams like Honda, BMW and R*D B*LL Racing. The new Ferrari is meant to be really fast as well.

Not a big fan of the Legacy, its too big. But the Impreza is wicked! Is Mad max selling a VZR or an Altezza? VZR with 190BHP should be pretty nice. But it depends on how old it is and its condition, interior and mechanical. I like the Carina GT, I've always rated the 4-AGE engine quite highly. Only problem is the Carina feels like a family car than a sports car, I know its fast but not too sure about the handling.

Nah the Euro-R is what I drive in UK, the new car's for my Bro actually. I think he's been to check out a Pulzar VZR recently, and another Euro-R but the guy wanted 5.5 Mill for it! Its only done 3000 Kms though. I'll tell him to check out Max's Alezza when he puts it up for sale. That should be good as long as its not hacked.

No man that was about 2 and half years ago. I took it for a test drive, it was pretty sweet. The guy was selling his RX-7 at the same time, some guy near Baththamulla bought it I think. I really like the Altezza, specially cause its rear wheel drive. I drive a Euro Type-R at the moment and you just can't get the power delivered in front wheel drive, it wheel spins all the way to 3rd gear! So come on guys, any other suggestions for 2 to 2.5 Mill? How about Evo's or Subaru's? I heard the Carina GT is quite fast as well.

The car prices in lanka are insane these days. I once negotiated a deal for a Glanza for $6500, it was in the Prima factury near the airport, a light blue one. It belonged to the son of the CEO of Prima. But some bastard bought 2 hours later, before I could give him a deposit! So how much do you guys reckon an RS200 is? like a GA- plate?

Guys, I need some advice on a new car to buy in Lanka for around 2mill, maybe a bit more. Has to be sporty, 0-60 has to sub 8secs. I was thinking of maybe an Altezza RS200. How much would it be reconditioned?
