Yes, you are correct I'm a Honda fan I sold my EK3 last month and brought Demio - 2001 coz my wife want to have car so i thought go for One car as cannot afford 2 cars. so same week i brought mazda demio. worst car ever .i had to repair gear box , replaced radiator , mirros..tune up . AC repair..etc. it cost me 100k for all. then after all i realized massive corrosion under the engine compartment. i was so disappoint and I sold it 3 days ago and advised the buyer about the corrosion honestly. I have never drive Auto gear car for a 15 years and now only getting used to it. I really like ES 8 face lift and it suits my budget too. but i'm scared with repairs now. i heard from few Honda technicians, that auto gear boxes will have repair if its over 100K KM millage. so it cost of repair would be 65K. and others like Engine Mount, cam Belt...etc. so and . most ES 8's are more than 150K . so there will be more repairs will be in future. Hub bearing, Lower arm bush, upper arm bush, CV joints, Shocks..etc That's why i 'm looking for GP1 made in 2011 or 2012. and less mileage some times 65K. and fuel consumption. it is over budget but i believe less headache. Anyway thank you for your valuable advice and hoping to have more sira

Hi Davy I just bleed the all wheels. rear L , Front R ,Rear R and Front L. when i bleed them i let oil go alot. because earlier there was block. looks ok no block of any pipes or ABS module. The difference i noticed this car is when i press the paddle very hard, car dose not like to stop. my Ek3 (non ABS) it;s stopps with hard break (20-30 KMPH) and over 70-80 wheels locks. This car around 20 -30 kmPH, smooth break can apply and it reduces the speed but if i keep pressing the paddle hard . it's lazy to stop.. Will the ABS activated 20-30 too? or any other issue thanks sira
-
Hi Davy Thank you for the update. I just unscrew particuler pipe on the ABS module. have't got a clue weather it is module or pump. is there any way for isolate it. I was not used ABS car for last 15 years time and now only getting experience with this. same like ABS and AT gear box.

Dear Friends I recently brought Demio 2001 car and it got ABS break system. Today i replaced break liners and just checked any air on the system because it looks never touched for a long time. so when i bleed rear left wheel . after few second time there was no any break oil in the line. so i checked total system and notice , there was block on output line on the ABS module. then i start the engine and run the car and applied hard break . hear the ABS spinning sound too. then noticed that the block lie now cleared and when i press the break paddle it squirt break oil. will there be a block on ABS line ? is there any other way of bleeding ABS assisted breaking system? do we need to service ABS system with specific time period Thanks sira

Dear Friends I'm new to Automatic gear cars and last 10 years i used only manual cars. now i 'm looking for auto gear car. Recently i got Mazda Demio 201 and looks small issue with gear box. so now i really want to know how can i identify automatic gear box issues before buy a car. some issues appear when the engine cold. some of when kick down..etc can you please advice Thank you sira
-
Dear Friends I brought Demio 2001 (LA3WDW) last week. I noticed a small issue today. After start and move the gear leaver in to D position ( with in 1 min time) , car looks very lazy to move. if i accelerate hard, it move slowly and that time i saw "HOLD" indicator flashing on dash board. then i switch off the engine and start it again .all issue was gone and car start running as normal. what could be the issue on this please. the previous owner said he change the ATF. do i need to do a valve body service ? some other issue i have found as below 1. when the engine is hot , the speed around 60 and then accelerate bit , i can hear spark knock - detonation sound 2. previous owner has not changed the T-belt and now car reached 120K mileage. at what mileage i should change the T belt Please advice Thank you sira
