criticism is most welcome and AL is a free site but it has rules and name calling is not one of them... the so called 'jokers' you refer to have been on the forums and have been friends of the site since the dawn of time so if you don't know how to dispense advice or criticism in a civil manner you might want to ask yourself who the real joker is...

you've got the picture all wrong buddy... all the participants are responsible people who also own STi's and Evos and want to know where their cars stand in a casual drag... unlike your fast and the furious comparison, the local drag racing scene is not about fame and fortune... don't make childish statements if you don't know what goes down in the drags and the people involved cos they've been doing it for ages...

priya why don't you scout around panchi and see what jap brake pads you can pick up... there are plenty of starlet GT's around and i highly doubt 75% buy their pads from toyota lanka... it's just temporary till you can afford a genuine set... trust me the premium you pay is worth it! take my vote against used pads too...

i've not had issues with kleenpark either... though i haven't been there in a while...

get yourself a hybrid BOV like the gofastbits stuff... not available here but should cost between 200-300 aussi bucks on ebay... atmospheric BOVs are going to make your car run richer than usual and your fuel consumption is going to drop... with a hybrid you can switch between atmo (to scare people with the noise) or plumback/recirculation for economy...

voted for the interplay... never owned one let alone driven one but i think the car would probably be more economical to run than the E30 and would also hold its value to the point of flogging it in a hurry... car also has decent styling... as much as i love the E30 AND having driven a 320i (almost died smiling on a wet road) there's only so much high speed running one would be doing in SL so its stability would play second fiddle to practicality... though don't count out the FB13... i've owned one and it's never let me down... bloody good motor and the super saloons have excellent interiors (mine had climate control)...

yup all the evo has is a fat face... everything else is lancer-ish... the scoob's new attire takes a little getting used to but i think it's hot... but then i'm biased Steven Segal is a real life super hero... for the 20 years he's been in the movies i've not seen as much as a scratch on him definitely my primary choice for a bodyguard with rajini kanth a close second...

the event was good fun albeit for the heavy rain which stalled us for a few hours... props though to a very well organised event which included a fireworks display and pom pom dancers all you guys should've come!! ash has pictures though...
