  1. he did!...he did! i thought marriage was supposed to squash all your free thinking abilities... apparently not...but hey,it's still early days ne...haha...just joking xXx,and congrats again... as for the conspiracy theories,i'm somewhat on the fence with that,i dunno what to believe, but i'm sure that tthem big oil companies just wont stand there and let their product get rreplaced.
  2. lol...BUSTED!!! i guess these things are to be expected as the forum gets ever more popular..i notice even the spambots are attacking frequently now(was in for a shocker when i logged in a coupla nights earlier when a one of 'em 'penis enlargement' threads had some very naughty pictures luckily yours truly was busy watching the long legged rusky babes in the US open,so no harm done...ROFL)
  3. yep this is the same bike mani...those are some sick mods bro ,i love how she turned out...those marchesini wheels are looking fab...
  4. happy birthday!
  5. lol...MONSTER WEDGIE!!!!!
  6. agree with ripper...it is unfair to rip people off because of their lack of knowledge, that is why we go to a expert in the first place...saying that "it's just business" or "you should have known better" isnt going to cut it

    Fiat 600

hmmm...now that you mention it,i havent seen a 600 on the road recently, let alone for sale...GTAm might be able to help you.
  8. no...the HRV's peoblem is the cvt gearbox as someone has pointed out already...there was a mass recall by honda to rectify this if i remember correctly..one automatic HRV owner confided in me that there was a loud noise when accelarating off...later we found out the fault was with the "start clutch" in the cvt gearbox( http://www.whatcar.com/car-reviews/used/ho...reviews/23660-3 )...but most of the vehicles on the road should have rectified this problem by now...
  9. off the top of my mind there's osanda LR motors outdoorsman the first is a good friend and i've had some minor work done by him,no probs...but i know some guys here have been dissapointed by him,so better check with the AL off-road guru's before going there...i dont have any first hand expeirience with the others whats your vehicle btw?
  10. i'd go for the suzuki aswell...both the HRV and the IO GDI has some niggling problems from what i have heard...but all in all,all three are safe bets.
  11. thanks mate!
  12. yes yes...all very good and valid points,VVTi and Supra but i still stand by what i said...hell i've seen modifications done on cars that has twice that was meant for chasis to handle, for example the supercharged TR3 and i guess you've heard of the 2cv with a formula one engine,BUT they did it properly by strenghtening the chasis and all that...and i've heard of maruti racing in india(not sure)...i think any car can and should be modded IF DONE PROPERLY AND DRIVEN PROPERLY. MY POINT IS that it all goes down to WHO drives the car...a ferrari or a maruti can be lethal weapon in the hands of a lunatic and at the same time be a shopping car for an old granny...as the old saying goes "it aint the car,it's the driver" however coming back to the particular person in question...yes,i'd hate be on the same road with him drving a shopping cart let alone an alto.
  13. woah man!...loving the little bugger in the first pic...a showstopper indded
  14. i'm with LEGACY on this... i know "ek3" doesnt have good track record but bugger has asked some straight forward questions on this thread and as of now he hasnt got an answer, instead people are telling him what a crappy car he has...granted that not many people would performance modify an alto but we could atleast show him the coutesy of replying him with a decent answer,no matter how annoying he has been earlier...what he does to his car is his own business... besides if any new member is reading this thread he would get a totally wrong idea of AL and think that we only favour some selected brands...that does not do any good to autolanka or madz...and I think they both desrve a lot better from us.
  15. i know it's butt ugly...but i kinda like it as well...really like the grill but i never ever will buy one though...cos i will always be a nissan patrol fanboy when it comes to big suv's
  16. LOL yeah...a good 500 is a joy to watch on the road and there's that micheal schumacher influence which has stirred quite a lot of interest for it even among non-enthusisasts...i'm now very glad i did not sell it despite some great offers...it's a keeper allright the 2cv is a AZAM "luxe" model...with bullet lights...not exactly sure about the MFD,but its circa late 60's...have to check up on that
  17. adey!!!...i never ever thought gray as potential color for the 500...hmmm....interesting!!! should look great with the red stripes...i think the puristas would forgive me for borrowing a lil' bit of the abarth theme btw the initial colour applied to the 2cv is red...but i wouldnt be surprised if me or pops have a change of heart half way through..haha...we often do that...LOL cool...but i think only a italian can carry a colour like this and show it off so handsomely...i just cant think of anyother non italian car that would look this great with a shade like this
  18. yeah prad...we never ment that you should you build a "poser" abarth...it's just that some of us thought that a certain colour would look nice on your babe the ultimate decision is all yours mate, eitherway me thinks she'd look gorgeous no matter what colour i'm in...looking forward to another informal g2g with the classic buffs...although i've met almost all of you personally there are a couple of guys i'm yet to meet, for instance i think it's a crime that i havent met "Ripper" yet, being a fellow joe and all
  19. wow thats so cool machan! ...perfect timing
  20. yup...nothing says "ABARTH" like white does the MG A is about 90% done mate,it just needs the upholstry work and the final paint coating to be applied...many thanks to all Al members especially supra who has been a real help with this...it was only up for a new chassis and body paintjob but thanks to the financial situation and idiots we had to work with this has dragged on for nearly one and a half years...the 2cv is also almost complete, just need to attach the recently arrived parts, but the bloke whos putting it together is a real slow-poke,so it may take months...the others are as they were i'm afraid
  21. i got mine buffed at my chrome plating shop...i'll PM you the contacts but any such shop should be able to handle it judging by the picture your wheels should be good enough after a good buff mate...somehow the re-painted wheels doesnt look "natural" at all and one can instantly tell that they were locally painted...
  22. i like option number two
  23. hey dude try the new alloy place close to thorana junc, maybe they do these stuff... the chrome/electro plating places usually buff-out alloys as well...i buffed four of my wheels a year back and they charged me 450/- per piece, but mine had lots of spokes so they charged me extra as for painting i suggest you hand it to your local garages paint guy along with the desired paint colour...it would save you a lot of money
  24. have you checked the air and fuel filters?...worth a try if u havent
  25. OMG! OMG! OMG! i want one...NOW!!!
