the fibre thing is a good idea don..i didnt think of that...i'll chat up some of the fibre guys i know...gotta be someone who has alot of imagination too...but the back bit will have to be made of wood cos i can do that without a lot of money. i'll have to ditch the 4wd idea cos i dont' have the buck these days to go for a another chasis...

no machang,the leyland only has the basic chasis,but the isuzu has all the bits including a 4.5ltr turbo moter,that's why i'm leaning more toward using the isuzu.i'm thinking about the doing the truck bit(back) out of wood...and then modifying a old isuzu front cabin with steel bits representing the armour complete with fake big nuts...a reconditioned isuzu cabin(tubelight model) can be bought for around 20k...the doors can be also cut and modified to open upwards i will have to keep the FR layout for now cos coverting to 4wd will be a big job....i

LOL it is very do-able machang..according to my calculations a budget of around 200k will be enough for the job...

guys,me and my dad have been nursing this idea of building an armoured truck replica for sometime,we already have a old isuzu and leyland a chasis lying about,and i talked to some off road buffs around kelaniya and some other guys and most think the leyland chasis is ideal,but i dont like it cos it's too high off the ground,i think using the old elf 350 will give it a gutsy and a mean look...i know it will not have the capabilities of the real thing but we're only going for the looks... any ideas of how we should approach this? i'm looking for something along these lines

i dunno about other vehicles...but chinese made trucks are utter crap,they tend to bend in the middle if you load even 1 cube of sand(max is 1.75)...and another rented one split in half in the middle of the kadawatha town while carrying a load of foundation rocks well below it's capacity...i was tempted to go for one because of cheapness and brand new status,but ended up buying a 20 year old mitsu fuso dumper instead.

LOL...the ZX has already beaten the busa machang...but me being a kid who grew up facinated by the busa,don't like to think it can ever be beaten...it's like seeing someone beat up your dad or older brother... anyways i should be happy that it was kawasaki that eventually beat it.

Spectacular Suicide Attempt In Dodge Van Foiled By Pesky Cliff They say, “Go out with a bang.” A Colorado man got the “bang” part right, but failed on the “out” when he attempted suicide by driving his van over a precipice in Colorado. 34-year-old Daniel J. Lyons and his sweet 1987 Dodge van bounced down the rocky side of the canyon at Colorado National Monument park this past Wednesday only to be brought to an abrupt halt by an outcropping. Rescue workers found him teetering over the 170-foot drop. Eventually, a litter was lowered over the edge and Lyons was pulled to safety. Lyons is adamant the incident was an accident, but investigators couldn’t find any skid marks or other signs of mishap, indicating this was, in fact, likely a suicide attempt. The van will remain perched on the cliff below Rim Rock Drive until authorities find a way to remove it or gravity has its way. [via The Denver Post]

yeah machang..it's an ongoing debate...the zx is a great straight line shooter,but i think the busa is an all around performer still...plus it has that name which will scare the sh*t outta anyone i can arrange for you to ride a kawi ninja just 400cc shy of the 14....

machang this is the kawasaki ninja zx14/zzr1400.....a hyper sport monster that will bring down each and every supercar to it's knees...outdone only by the suzuki hayabusa.

i have one of those un-branded one's(fitted by previous owner).... does it harm the engine?should i replace it with a original filter?..please advice

it's marked on the side wall of the tyre if it's tubeless or tube type....if there is no marking it means that it has a tube
