"N1" is actually a super endurance race in japan where cars are built to the highest specifications...thus NISMO which is the racing brand of Nissan produce "N1" parts for their cars...so certain road production cars are kitted out with these parts such as on the NuR's....its their highest race spec performance parts....

Hey man...well yes u could buy a standard GT-R and upgrade it to a V-Spec II because the engine is basically the same (RB26DETT) however, the main difference as i said above is the Carbon Fibre Hood and the rear carbon fibre diffuser...so this is very easy to upgrade...However, to upgrade the Standard 1999 GT-R to a 2002 NuR version would be very much harder... the simple reason being the 2002 versions have a N1 spec engine with major difference's such as twin ball bearing metal turbochargers, N1 cylinder block, N1 pistons, N1 piston rings, N1 Con-rod, N1 oil pump, N1 water pump and a N1 exhaust manifold...so to replace all these parts would be costly and not easy...The NuR's also have interior differences such as the 300 km/h speedo...The other thing is that only 900 NuR versions were ever made so its kinda a Limited Edition...thats probably the biggest reason why the car is more expensive than the 1999 versions...Hope what i said helps bro....

Hey preveen... ur right the prices in japan depend on Spec and mileage... when i went over there to get the car the price range was as such : (Prices are for cars under 20,000 Km) 1999 R34 (Standard) Not a V-Spec - 2.6 mill yen 1999 R34 V-Spec - 3.2 mill yen 1999 R34 V-Spec II - 4.0 mill yen (biggest difference from the above 2 is The Rear Diffuser and Carbon Fibre bonnet) 2002 R34 V-Spec II NuR - 7.0 mill yen (Race bred - Extremely Hard suspension, no airconditioning, no leather seats, no audio system, carbon fibre bonnet and diffuser ) 2002 R34 M-Spec Nur - 7.2 mill yen These prices were from august 2004... and yup the skylines imported into the U.S have to be converted and crash tested..and the prices are off the scale...

Hey man...The elise would cost 10mill to bring down...on whether mine is a 111R or 111S it was kinda hard to say right...at 1st we thought it was the 111R but the thing is that the 111R was only sent to the U.S.A and japan didnt receive it...so we concluded that mine is the 111S...plus another thing that persuaded us to believe so is that it has a 1800cc Rover engine and NOT the 1800cc Toyota engine found on the 111R...so thats probably a 111S Limited......plus man the base price dimantha gave is from a U.S site which is correct...the only company that can bring down legal skylines is Motorex which is based in Cali...there website with all the prices is www.skylinegtr.com ...hey sharkster thanks man i know what u mean dude...

I mean after all i have no idea what a STi feels like...i mean i've never even been in one...so i guess i wont have a clue about how different an STi is from the GT-R.... So ur sayin that u own a car that does 0 to 100 in less than 5 secs?.... man im so depressed that the GTR is so SLOW... damn... what was i thinking... Velocity looks like the GTR is classed as the slowest jap car... maybe we shud send it back to japan right and buy a STi or Evo..................

He's totally screwed up all his facts and figures man... yup even at 0.6 bar boost the GTR will hit a high 180 km/h...

Dude...if u have been in the Blue R34 did u see a onboard computer on the dash?!?!?! Do u have any idea what that does??? Well let me tell you... "R34 is turbo it doesnt run without boost" - The boost can be completely knocked out using the controller.. u can drop the standard setting of one bar boost to 0.1 and increase it all the way to 1.2 bar...so yes dimantha is correct!! The drive on a skyline is way smoother so u wont feel the "burning sensation" but trust me it get to speeds pretty much faster than u feel... "a used r34 will cost 9mil ask #######" - Wrong... the 2002 R34 M-Spec Nur cost 11mill in November 2004... to bring the same version today will cost over 18mill...the 2002 feb is the only version u can legally bring down and now with the 3year rule over thats impossible unless u have other means.... would u tell me the speed that a STi or Evo (Standard) has done on Green Path??? My friend who owns a STi 8 standard hits 176 km/h at GP where as the GT-R hits 190 km/h running at 0.8bar and 200 km/h at 1.0 bar....mind u this was with 3 ppl in the car including our official starter of the drags I***N...so ask him if u dont believe me... "an evo will leave the r34 so behind belive me . i have seen enough races ,even an sti will beat the piss out of an r34" - this is utter rubbish and the statement of a person who has NO idea what he is talkin about.... may i know where it is that u have seen all these races????? Hey Man....not sure where u got ur facts and figures but NO way will a R34 GTR be 9 million!! Trust me on this...i would know...also u can ask Velocity how much it will cost to bring an R34 down...It will definetly be over 12 million.............heh heh...and about a R34 not being able to keep up with a Evo man i wouldnt say that!! The technology in an R34 is FAR from old dude!! It presently has way more technological advancements than an Evo ever did.................

Sharkster.....dont underestimate the performance of the Mr-S...hehehe...we made that mistake and nearly had to pay dearly for it...that red Mr-S with the Lambo doors is pretty damn quick...specially on our roads and through traffic it's a killer to drive...it gave a WRX trouble and the only time we really gave him back was on GP...but till we got there he held his own.............amazing little car
