  1. Congrats!!
  2. Austin A30. Sticking with my original answer.
  3. Sure, why not?
  4. I buy everything from ebay or get them down from the States through someone. The tires you've shown are Pro-Line Badlands for 1/5 vehicles, in particular the rear wheels for the HPI Baja 5 series. Look for Tamiya rally tires/wheels on ebay, because they're the only manufacturer who make 1/10 rally vehicles (the DF-03Ra based models). Some sellers sell individual bits of the kits on ebay, so you should be able to find a set. Here's a picture of what you should be after.
  5. The weekend is approaching, better start topping up.
  6. Toyota wanting to prove their elite engineering prowess with a road car seems a little moot to me. Considering how well their F1 car has done in this year, it's pretty obvious they can indeed design very fast podium placing cars. I'm still optimistic that they might redesign this car into a simpler format and release it as a Supra.
  7. The original Mini was a project undertaken by the Austin offices, and it was initially marketed as the Austin Mini. It was always under BMC/BLC, at one point being named, among others, Leyland Mini.
  8. Psh. They'll never get anywhere with that. Not while there's a new comparatively cheap Datsun Playstation Edition smoking 911 turbos and ZR-1s left, right and center. P.S. Couldn't help aping JC with the Datsun comment
  9. Paintjob, I'm pretty adept with an airbrush and masking. The airborne shot, I'm pretty adept with one handed driving and camera operation The mini wheel brace is a pretty common tool among nearly all manufacturers. P.S. The paints used are Parma Faskolor Satin Chrome and Pearl Charcoal. I use Parma paints because they're water based acrylics, and while they're not the easiest to work with, they're a lot easier on my respiratory system. The outlines are in chrome, filled in charcoal, and the candy effect was derived with a charcoal/chrome/charcoal layer. Here's a close up.
  10. Why can't they just rename this "Toyota Supra" instead?
  11. Lack of job gave me plenty of time to work on my hobbies.
  12. Is that because you were sniffing the Toluene or using it as a fuel additive?
  13. The trick is to apply the same work methods in the private sector which are currently implemented in the public sector. Study the subtle mantras of delegation and passing of the buck. Once applied to your daily routine, you will wonder how you ever managed without.
  14. srsly? I'd tap that if given the opportunity.
  15. Ethul kotte was out of Petrol, but both Diesel pumps appeared to be working. Didn't get a look at baseline because the traffic was unusually dense this morning, spent the good part of 15 minutes on the PIM/SLT to Baseline shortcut.
  16. For The Loss. Complete opposite of FTW.
  17. Hopefully after they design a better looking car.
  18. Can the rims take 185 properly? No ballooning sidewalls?
  19. Bugger :< I'm topping up again tomorrow. This is becoming has become a farce.
  20. Pelawatte junc Ceypetco was open tonight, large queue, causing a block at the intersection when I dropped in at the shops.
  21. Speedfreak would be glad to hear that news Ripper.
  22. How about Galle road? Any updates?
  23. If 95 is denoted by the red/yellow pumps, then Laughs Koswatta was in stock at 7:30am this morning.
