  1. He has a new FSP every week, I've lost track of who he's dating LOL
  2. He's not Elon Musk is he? LOL
  3. I see it as pure marketing gimmick to get exposure the IT company that's behind it.
  4. What kind of a car is this for?
  5. I thought the same for a second LOL
  6. Here is a popular quartz (reconstructed stone) product here is the US. It gives you a granite like finish with a non-porous surface that requires less maintenance than natural granite. But if Neustone product is similar to Corian, it is acrylic and feels more plastic than stone. http://www.silestoneusa.com/what-is-silestone/
  7. Couldn't find anything about material makeup of Neustone is since it seems to be local brand name. But looking at this I'm thinking it's what's known as 'Corian' in the west which is an acrylic product. It could also be a quartz product that is closer to granite. If you tell me what the material is I maybe able to help you since I'm also in the market for counter tops and been doing some research on the different products.
  8. They used to own the Maserati dealership in the early 2000s when they were Transmec, long before their Micro days. They sold one or two GTs and that's it. I was one of their very first customers when the government permit came out back in 2007-2008. They weren't as big back then, neither did they have investments from the 'royal' family. Having had face time with both Dr. Lawrence and Asela I have to say they were true car guys and the Maserati dealership was born out of passion. But I'm sure things have changed with time and influence.
  9. Let the memes begin! Yep :-)
  10. Haha... not just hybrids, even sports cars have start-stop now. And on the topic of putting the car into 'N', the new Porsches disengages the gear - essentially putting it into neutral when coasting or coming to a stop without load. See how it does 80mph at 800rpm.
  11. Did they just abandon the cars?
  12. Of course Peri is more experienced in this than I am. But let me give you my two cents. The blur is because the shutter speed was not fast enough to 'stop' the motion. The average kit lens might not be fast enough to focus on a moving object to 'freeze' the movement either. In motor racing a common technic is to pan the camera where the car is in focus and the background is blurred giving the sense of speed to the picture. Higher end lenses like the Canon L series has a special image stabilizer mode that will let you achieve this.
  13. Time for another update. I always wanted a Defender when I was back in SL. That changed to wanting a Jeep when I got here and finally picked one up.
  14. Looks like they wanted to increase the 'cool' factor and overdid it. :-)
  15. Get this kit. It's trusted, proven and very popular amongst the Bimmer owners that have RFTs. http://www.tirerack.com/accessories/detail.jsp?ID=38
  16. Exactly, and the Raptor is not even one of the full size pickups either LOL. You should see the Super Duty dually.
  17. It would be hard to maintain one of those without a dealer.
  18. Nice to see a lot of familiar cars - kind of nostalgic. Who owns the Supra TT now?
  19. Did some subtle mods on the Porsche. New wheels, spacers, tint and clear bra.
  20. 1300CC UPTO 1500CC: Ishraq Wahab - Honda Civic SiR ?? SiR is 1600cc
  21. Damn, looks like I missed the memo on what's in fashion. As for the car I have some new wheels/spacers waiting to be put on it. And my choice of bait to pull jungies is not the car. I reel them in with another secret weapon :-)
  22. Rohitha Rajapakse - Nissan GTR AMS Rohitha Rajapakse - Shelby Mustang GT500 Super Snake Rohitha Rajapakse - Ariel Atom Rohitha Rajapakse - BMW X6M All his cars?
  23. After almost 25 years of wearing glasses I switched to contact lenses last year because didn't want to look geeky anymore for obvious reasons . I was kicking myself for not switching earlier. A few years ago I also looked into Lasik, but wasn't too comfortable about the side effects of dry eyes that may occur after the procedure. Contact lenses are less intrusive, and for someone like me who bothered with glasses for most my life I was very happy just getting contacts. I use the two week disposable lenses and follow the cleaning procedure religiously. Took me a while to get used to sticking a foreign object in my eye but after only 6 months of wear it's like second nature. I have noticed that the lens in fact does have a small 'crack' by design, Is that what you're talking about?
  24. When I was back there Pet#o had them for sale. I also brought a few down for Emsees in Kandy.
