about markups, don't even wanna talk about it. Sale owners squeeze all the desperate new buyers dry and will probably continue for a foreseeable time until demand reduces. For example, new Vezel Z play they bring down for 18mil range are being sold at 24-25mil at some sales. It's downright insane

Guys thoughts on the Yaris Ativ which will be coming from Thailand. Looks good, interior feels nice too but something tells me it's gonna be hot garbage unlike JDM models which came to Sri Lanka before.

Think this is pretty much accurate since cabs seem like the best bang for buck at the moment. For example, highest grade Honda Vezel and entry grade Hilux are pretty much the same price. If I was to select, I know what I will go ahead with.

Guys, just a heads up, seeing a Facebook page called RMD Trading making rounds on FB claiming that they import and their cars are already reserved. I checked in Makola and they don't seem to have an office even. Looks very shady.

Yes. There's definitely a racket - there are few dozens of posts being published on Facebook groups every day with fake profiles and as anonymous, all slandering used vehicles and prices.

Contacted few exporters in Japan and none of them are accepting LCs. Only 100% advance for any export to Sri Lanka. Also, seeing a lot of new importers with new Facebook pages trying to take people for a spin with their whole new translations of auction sheets. A lot are desperate to get their hands on a new vehicle, a lot will not get the best value for their money I feel.

Yea was checking with few detailers and won't try on my own. Looks like the price range for a windscreen polishing these days is between 13k - 35k.

Yeah. That is the place. I checked Google Reviews, Facebook Comments - how he has responded to some of the people is appalling and decided not to get any service from someone like that because if something goes wrong, will be quite difficult to agree to a resolution with a person like that.

I keep coming across a service called Windscreen Polishing on Facebook. Has anyone tried it? My initial impression is that the guy 100% sounds like a snake oil salesman and trying to create an issue which doesn't exist as he says.

How's the sound quality and the bass? I know some vehicle doors can't handle bass well and tend to vibrate which is not ideal. -
