machan it's 1999 & HA plates when i gave it the milage was 65,000(i doubt whether this is actual milage ) 1) we replaced the entire front suspension( new japanise streering rack, lower arms, shocks ball joints , brake calippers ) still there was a noise comming from the front right side, which even A*W coudnt figure 2) if you are going from 0 - kms , yes the pulling is not bad, but from 4th - 3rd & 3rd - 2nd shift doesnt make a big difference, any way i hated the N16 from the day i got it , since i was used to AE110, which was a better car all aspects, even through when i sold it it had done 225,000kms (300 -)

machan dont even think about modifying a N16.not worth at all i used a N16 (recon ex-saloon ) for about 6 months untill i got my VZR 1) no pulling power , overtaking is horrible in 1500cc manual 2) not good on fuel, (8.5in colombo) 3) handling is sh*t at hi-speeds , can't take a reasonable turn even at 60kms (i'm not comparing it to the VZR, i'm only comparing it to my old AE110 ) 4) front suspension noises thank god i got rid of it & got the VZR

thanks buddy for the info, there was a Guy named ravi, who is no more at A*W, he has a gurage in kelaniya. he claims that he tuned the GD - 700 when A*W had it . other than that When ever i go to A*W they talk big amout the VZR's & show they are the only place to get things done, the guy who tuned my car was wasantha 1 1/2 yrs back . any way i better get a tuneup done from a professional . praveen mentioned nadeeradid the tuning for his car. if you dont mind can i know where i can meet him & how much he charges ??

machan my car idles at 750 - 800rpm(A*W ONLY TUNED IT 1 1/2 yrs BACK & when i checked with A*W they said this is the correct RPM level for VZR . mine does about 8km/ltr in city & about 10km/ltr on long distance , at similar driving pattern to praveen's what do you think ??? , do i have to get my car retuned ?? as i also felt a reduction in power

1) i cant afford a turbo or super charged as day to day running , & i Enjoy the power of VVL in our roads ( as this is also company maintained ) 2) if the road conditionsimprove & the cops stop catching for speeding at 75kms , i might shift to turbo but at this time not worth for me, unless i win a lottery

mahcan i think the best way is to buy a sti in japan & send it to colombo in peices & you can do a restoration project with you chassis. [###########Edited##############]

i will buy as long as i get it a good price ( anyway i dont think any one will buy any car with out checking it's michanical condion right ) any way even if you buy a agents maintained car, still that car can be a worse car than a recklessly driven car ( depending on the road conditions in sri ) just my idea
