Unfortunately yes they can do it....& It's a general cheap, underhand tactics done by Insurance Co. they tell u 2 go & do all the repairs & they will pay & pull this cheap move under u! leaving u pissed off big tym! I had a similar incident with my byk....but i wrote a very strongly worded letter & made a racket about it & they paid the full amount....dont take it lying down....if u do u loose. Generally the policy has a clause saying that the vehicle should be in good running/working condition it's based on this clause they cut down on the claim....but if u can support ur claim that it was not due to the fault of ur tires then they should pay up. the easiest way to prove this is 2 have a police report saying that it was the other parties fault....

Yeh i checked it out 2...it's a 3 stage vtec....was wondering the same thing why it hasn't moved?...

I'v read on the Honda Civic range....the best fuel economy & power combination is from the Civic EK3 Ferio Vi or the Vti range these are the "3 stage Vtec" once....do a google search on this & u will find the material 2 read......pls. note I have no practical experience on this & i came across this when i was was doing my research on what to buy.... I just bought a stock duel carb EG8.... These above mentioned EK3's (300-xxx, 301-xxx) goes for around 1.35 Mil but.....I think u could bargain & get a good deal....

I think u can make a complain to CPC....just a phone call.....& they will send out inspectors 2 chk the place out....

a long time back i saw this programm on discovery... well come 2 think of it..... the programm was "extream machines" (EXMAC) where they had this episode on armour & stuff & they showed this guy who was (@ that time may be...) the most threatened president... and they showed an attempt on this guy, his armoured car was hit by a 1 or 2 RPG rounds 1 had gone straight through the engine, and even the inside of the car was messed up pretty bad (burnt & stuff), but the guy had escaped whithout any serious injuries..... guess wat they put in those really work..... if it can withstand a RPG hit. but in a armoured car even if the tires r shot at they r able 2 go a certain distance whithout any probs....& the 1st areas they think of protecting when armouring the car is the most vulnerable areas like da tires, fuel tank, important valves, etc. thats pretty standard..... guess our guy's ordered our ones without those options..

Hey dudes, what's a good insurance co. 4 a full insurance cover 4 a CBR, and how much would it normally cost? and what r the trick small print u should look out for? bought my bike recently & crashed it on the 1st ride had only a 3rd party cover and cost me a pertty penney to get it fixed. Thx dude..... I thought a fireblade was supposed 2 be faster etc.... I'm just a novice with vehichels (any sort) no experiance whatsoever, no license yet either (but in the process of getting it) i just bought a GULLARM from my cus' (who's a bigger bike fanatic) and went for a test drive (had'nt driven a bike for bout 10 yrs) things went well initially, but at the last round, took a turn pretty fast didnt even realize it, untill it was 2 late - went crashing. my cus' had just done a total paint job and da machine was looking real fine. now it's in repair (along with me ha ha.....) with da same sort of damages u have. hope 2 get it back in about 2 weeks. hope u guys can help a bro out in learn the ropes of owning a cool piece of machinary like da CBR....... keep in touch...
