  1. Wooooohooooo! Its is indeed good to be back! Good work with the forum madz, awesome look though still getting the hang of the functionality. And it appears that the fuel consumption thread that we managed to start has been lost in the shuffle... Damn, have to start over with that now! looks as though certain "characters" are back in full form as well heh heh..
  2. Have read some Baldacci.... Absolute power, Last Man Standing and If i recall right, The Collectors. Have been meaning to read the Millennium trilogy for awhile but not got around to it yet... Heard it's bloody good though.
  3. fantasy yes but they are actually non-comic books surprisingly... An example?
  4. yes to the limoship but the food that actually verbally recommends itself does sort of freak me out!
  5. At the restaurant at the end of the universe no doubt?
  6. Aww man..... thats so, like, MOVING ya know? brings a tear to the eye, it really does! You should go on TV and preach sermons or something.
  7. What "it" shows is that: a ) You do not have any idea about basic forum etiquette, despite having been a member who has been around for a little while. (Clue: name calling is not appreciated) b ) You lack the basic knowledge required to perform a search of the forum. If you'd just clicked on the links that ripper provided, you'd see that any possible question you may have about the freelander has already been discussed .
  8. +1000 Seriously, do you people not understand how the search function works?

  10. Ok, To get the ball rolling on this one.... Started the thread but no time to add anything as have to rush out for some work. Will add what i can later. GENERAL INFO: THIS THREAD CONTAINS THE MOST COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON THE FORUM REGARDING TOYOTA VEHICLES. IT WILL AIM TO BE A CONSTANTLY UPDATED, ROLLING THREAD. SO NEWBIES, PLEASE READ THE THREAD BEFORE POSTING A QUESTION ON TOYOTA AS YOUR QUESTION IS MOST LIKELY ANSWERED HERE ALREADY!
  11. eh?
  12. Friend has one, 7-8 in city but claims 12-14 outstation. Not too hard to believe since my 106 used to be capable of about 11-12 outstation when it was new. Either your friend has a lead foot or he needs to get the vehicle checked up.
  13. Thus begins one of the most interesting road trip type stories I've read for a long time... Its by a guy based in the Uk who decided randomly to take a trip around europe in an audi he bought for 1000 pounds, with No real plan or anything. IMO its a really nice read. It'll run in three parts, one and two are already up. Check it out... Part one: http://hooniverse.com/2010/09/14/roadwork-...-tour-part-one/ Part two: http://hooniverse.com/2010/09/15/the-grand-tour-part-two/ PS, his other stuff is also pretty good.. hes basically trying to be a one man car magazine and he makes a decent fist of it. http://roadworkuk.blogspot.com/ other articles in pdf form http://roadworkuk.blogspot.com/p/download-roadwork.html
  14. you'd be surprised at how many people pick 121s and the like as wedding cars, and rent them too! Ask Milindu, for some reason these things are quite popular for the wedding runs.
  15. Toyota USED to make some awesome vehicles.... And i'd argue their 4x4's still are great. Its the "White bread" crap like Corollas, Allions and such that i dislike.
  16. Im sorry, WHAT did the top gear crew test and find to be "practically invincible"?? I DONT recall it having a Land Rover badge.... what was it now? Oh yeah.... a HILUX!
  17. Not in the list, obviously.... This is a list of the GREATEST cars of all time, not "The Dullest". "most boring" or "most capable of fooling gullible sri lankan buyers"
  18. In addition to the tips already given, I'd like to point out that 8-9 KM/l in the city is pretty good fuel consumption for an Automatic.... What is the make/model of the car?
  19. Sooo... you started a new thread just to show us a proverb? What was the point you were trying to get across?
  20. Seriously though guys, what is with the increase in the number of retards on AL these days?
  21. Dude, Any US market car would have been LEFT HAND DRIVE... the integras in the ads were from the batch that stafford imported brand new in the mid 90's, The trim level GSR was a universal thing for export markets, Though I dont think any cars were badged as such. (The only badging the integras had was "Integra" on the bumper).
  22. Its a Jaaaaaaaaaaaag! specifically an XF right?
  23. And what circumstances might those be? I certainly have no clue.... As an aside, the car in question HD - 8142 IS actually a 318i (as the badge on the back states). I can state this as a fact because the first owner of the car in question was my aunt, she sold it a couple of years back.
  24. It's an acura badge on a Honda Integra...
