Mate the track is about half an hour from Negombo town, So basically about 1 and a half hours from colombo. (Less if the traffic is not too bad) You can ask anyone where the turn to Pannala is and then when you get to Pannala town its about 10 minutes away. Racing will most probably begin around 9 am, and roughly about 15-20 events (both cars and bikes)

hmm interesting, well nope, its mainly my dad and even when I drive it, try to keep em rev's below 2500, average rpm's is about 2000 I guess.. and most of the other 1300 auto's I've seen have similar results, (8-9 in traffic)

mate this is really good, I do have 1 question regarding the 1.6 Swift Sports fuel economy though, I have a 1.3 Manual Jap and it does around 9 in traffic, I have a friend who has the sports and he swares by 10+ in traffic (Also Manual) Both cars have the avg fuel meter as well and the 1.3 shows 9.3 km/l and the 1.6 shows 10.4 km/l.. So unless this specific Swift sports is different to the rest, I think the 1.6 sports does better on fuel purely on having a better power to weight Ratio..

it was just past the slight bump after the 1st corner mate, the car on the previous laps was anyway getting abit of a fishtail after the crest, but that driver kept correcting and he kept going faster and 1 time the car just fishtailed too much and he couldn't correct it...

Really, didn't know you had a speed gun with you, maybe you didn't see the very 1st cars that ran were the Honda 1600's and they were hitting a good 150-160 km/h, or the SL-GT cars which were hitting around 170-180? If you can say "all cars are craps" then you better have a Lambo or something spectacular...

final qualifying finished around 7 am today, unfortunate that they couldn't get the events to go by quicker, but the track is simply lovely to watch and hats off to those GT3 and GT4 Drivers, Dilantha came behind the safety car in his black Lambo and it was just a treat to watch, by the 2nd and 3rd laps he had left the other lambo and the porsche's by miles, unfortunately his wheel came off and he had to stop... the porsche that crashed was absolutely flying, that driver was driving to give all the spectators there one heck of a show, and the sounds were amazing, a real shame about his crash though and glad he's fine... anyway here's hoping for tonight to go by quicker, safer and more exciting .. IMO, events to watch out for, SL-GT (Pasindu pole, Darin 2nd, Ashan Silva 3rd, Aravinda 4th) SL-H (Dilan Seniviratne pole, Ashan silva 2nd, Sajaad 3rd) The SL-H cars were simply spectacular as they ran first and the track was very dusty at the time.. The races are going to be telecasted live on CSN
