Actually, last time I went there, a chap in a jeep in front of me went into the drive through and then tried to reverse out (nearly running me over) cause he was trying to park, in the end, he went right through the drive through, turned back and parked.

ok sorry bout the above post, can't seem to get the spaces :S anyway the most of the races were very interesting, the SLH was very good as Dinesh and Sajaad had a very good battle right throughout the race, SL-GT Darin started 4th and got the lead within 2 laps, afterwards it was a clear run for him.. Formula ford 1600 post 85 promised to be a good one with Dinesh J and Rohan De Silva 1st and second, but both had mechanical issues which made them pull out from the race.. Apparently both the Formula Mclarens 1300 events were very good as well

They might give a runners up trophy mate, thats what they did with the Formula Mclarens 1300 C'ship last year But yeah I guess your right, suppose the cost is just too much... Been quite a busy year for the racers..

No idea mate, just heard about it, sigh sure wish someone would shed some light on this .. I thought people would be glad for a tarmac event specially at a super track like pannala...

From what I heard, DD, Pasindu, Janaka, Missaka, Reyaz aren't running. Hopefully they'll change their minds and make this final Pannala a good one.. (Specially since its the final event for this year leaving out the drags and Colombo night race)

It'll be a day race, the round 4 was canceled due to excessive events during september, so round 5 is now round 4 and is the final round for this years speed Championship, and its not a night race.

People Don't forget to keep the weekend free, 2 weeks more and its back at pannala for the final round for this years Speed Championship. Hopefully there'll be alot of entries for the popular events and it'll be an interesting final round

agreed! I was talking bout cut off's before redline btw OT, do Carb engines have cut off's? or can you rev em till they blow? or does it depend on the jets?

The Stig has spoken!!!! Actually, I think each car differs, I.E, Swift sport on Neutral has a cut off at just under 6000 Rpm, but on gear it cuts off at just past 7000Rpm.. (Talking about the manual one here though) and the redline starts at about 6800 in the swifty sports

I doubt it'll be a problem for the pro's and whats more, the track is going to be on some pretty good road, not some halbara wattha road where the bottoms of the cars will be sitting on the ground half the time. Even the formula's might run
