Hey guys... saw a few Accord 1998 - American edition for sale & a friend of mine is interested..... please send in your feedback abt this model .. pros/cons ??

Current owner does not have any maintanance rerords . - in that case better get the inspection report machan..... also check with the agent if the car has come for any repairs.. they will have old records (if it has gone to the agent)

It will take abt 3 hrs for them to do the full inspection... & it's better if u r there.... best thing is to call them first & be there as one of the first customers for the day..... u can get a reports as well as an estimate for the required repairs (if u want)

Take it to the agents... get a Condition Report (will cost abt 2700).. but it's worth it... make sure the Gearbox is in good condition or ur screwed Talk to Guruge @ the agent.. he is a good fellow.....

yeah machan... looking @ a heavy bill...... i did call the seeduwa guy... he said they don't undertake Honda GB's... too much trouble lu.... even non CVT ones... i think more than the GB, the fuel injector (duty cycle too long.. bad fuel econ) issue is what i wanna get fixed.......

Looks like mine is an OBD-1 (37820-P2C-Y51)... hoping to buy an OBD-2 Scanner which can be plugged into the PC & scan & monitor stuff on the vehicle..... is there a OBD1 to OBD2 converter so i can still use the OBD-2 scanner

Hey guys... this brand new model doesn't have an O2 Sensor... not on the exhaust manifold (i removed the heat shield & checked) anyway ......

Hey Guys... i downloaded the Civic Service/Repair Manual "Civic EJ6, EJ7, EJ8 (96-00) Service Manual.pdf" but not sure which model in this is compatible with my EK3-EXi cos i don't see this particular version (with D15Z4 Engine) in the manual... any ideas... ????

Thanks for the suggestion but don't think i wanna go down that path by the way...does this model have a O2 sensor & where is it exactly ?? (2000, EXi - D15Z4 Engine)

The latest is as follows.... Gearbox..... it was running smooth for abt 1 week after Vasant did a flush & changed the ATF... but the harsh shift is back...also when the A/C is on.. the car feels very heavy..... ECU..... after all the injector cleaning, throttle body cleaning, fuel system cleaning....etc... i did a OBD2 scan... same Injector Pulse width.... so i guess what's left is to Replace both ECU & AT

well machan... with all do respect.. i did google for abt 5 days before coming here.... cannot find the model no online.... tried various combination (engine no, car model, finally the ecu model number in the link)... no luck.....
