First victory in east is belongs to SL Army. I didn’t see his son, whom he sacrifices into navy is fighting there. (He must be chilling himself out in a pub in Southampton by that time) Secondly they are not rich from the birth. I have heard that when MR became an MP in 1977 general public in his area bought him a car from their collected money simply because their new MP could not afford one. So as you can see now 30 years of political life is paying dividends. This is corruption at its best. Whatever the source which paid that 45M is dirty. I think it’s more like that DB9 is powered by a MIG engine.

honestly... the only bit I too didnt like in his posts is that e thingy. His english stands above the average SL standards and comes with lot of slangs. More like the way it speak in UK and AU. Just a note on this guy. One day he gonna go a long way on his life for sure. (Devinda.. dont get carried away with compliments )

Disconnecting power and trying to reset things could have a effect on your immobiliser, if your car comes with one. I think its not a bad idea to check that out first. BTW how does it like running in safe mode. What are the controls you heve lost .. JK -

I have noticed that my warning level has gone up. I cant remember that I am trying to advertise anything ? Would you please let me know the reason..? -
Very futuristic. I love this sort of interiors. (may be the reason we all hate indian cars) just check the prices in UK. It is starting from 17 600 £. Thats something like 3.7 M rupees in current exchange rates if you convert into SLR. Can afford one in UK but dont think so in Sri Lanka.

Can we discuss about individuals(or organizations) here..? How ethical is that for high standards we are maitaining here

Can anyone recognize this car. It is sold in UK by MG Rover as a city car. http://www3.mg-rover.com/rover_GB_en/static/cityrover.html Top Gear fans should already know what we are talking about here. :-)

Well whoever working outside and bringing that most important foreign exchange to the country has to be benifict from one way or another. My opinion is we are not appreciating enough what our migrant workers are doing for the country specialy those who sweating in middle east as factory workers and house maids. Please keep this in mind mate you want be able to import a single car into the country without foreign exchange they are sending back. (apart from garment industry and tea I cant see any other solid foreign exchange source for us). But I think the whole idea of this scheme is allowing individuals to bring back their beloved vehicle with them when they are returning to the country. Its more like relocating with your personal belongings.

Remember you still can do a lot with the top half . so for me the one with the face

Well people can have different opinions. thats what all about this internet forums are. Anyway I think its better if you can respect others on their opinions and same time bring up your opinion without criticizing others. One thing I like about this forum is see how polite guys here are. so pls keep your aggression to the minimum level and learn some tolerance. If someone replys three times, be wise enough to understand its definitely a mistake.

Do we have Mazda 6 in Sri Lanka ?

The reason is when you go deep into the history europe has more to offer than Japan. we cant forget that Japan car industry is still maturing. (or already they are). I am sure Toyota 4WD will have the same prestige one day which Landrover currently enjoying. but we have to wait and see. What japs are good at is doing simple things right. thats why they succeed in the mass market. can anyone name a Jap car which we can see as a vintage. the reason is simply their car industry is not that old enough. but surely in the future they wil. Germany in other hand ware building cars for decades and still remains as one of the biggest players in automotive industry. They simply built the first car and then they went to master the art of building great cars. so my point of view they are well deserve to be the "Greatest Automotive Nation" in the planet cheers

Totaly agree. West is fighting back. Anyway all I feel is Japs never made something we can call a master piece. They are good in bulding commecial cars in high volumes for very competitive prices. (Subaru stay out from the bunch though)

what about porsche carrera GT

Its Micro.. M.I.C.R.O to be exact. (a simple A can make a big diff ). Anyway when we talk about financial terms we have to focus on individual financial situation of the companies. I am sure none of these parent companies will continuously provide funding, in a case child company becoming yet another white elephant for them. To have exact idea of how these companies are doing you have to pay individual attention. Not from the point of view who own them

Top Gear is very bias when it comes to British makes. Its mainly due to policies here anyone with money can buy british firms. So it is a common thing to see even firms doing well here are bought over by foreigners. In that case I think Land Rover has enough sales to servive without any foreign cash inputs. (I am not sure about Aston Martin finacial situation though) I think when it comes to the world big playes its sort of a prestrige to take over a british company. Good for their marketting and image building. lets say Micra is about to take over Land Rover.. what sort of publicity stunt that gonna be for Micra ?
-
hmmm.. my personal point of view is Black car in SL roads and under the sun we got there is not a wise thing to do. you will be boiling inside (even with the AC is on full power) on a good sunny day

Brits are paying the price for becoming a cold nation. They have sort of lost the enthusiasm in all sort of areas in the industries and automotive industry is a good indication of whats going around. Anyway what about Aston Martin in super car category. ?
