Look son, ARE you telling me that Japanese cars are expensive to maintain? well......most of them are not..... wake up! Yes maruti does have better fuel economy maybe that is why I see many PENSIONERS driving around in marutis and the other lot are company cars.... Think about safety,comfort and forget about the fuel economy (I dont say that you should drive a 5kmpl car but 10-14kmpl is very reasonable dont you think?) If you are so damn worried about fuel economy.....why buy a car? there is something called PUBLIC TRANSPORT, maybe you could try and catch a bus home! Accidents DO happen that is reality...(like I saw in some advert.)

In fact there is people who hate indian cars like myself....... Just try to think...... you always have better options than a trad sunny for .8mil for example take a toyota corolla AE96 you get power steering (i think you get P/S in a trad sunny too) which you wouldn't in a b.new maruti so smart people always tend to go for a japanese or a european car rather than a indian car.

With you on this harshana...... I guess indian and sometimes chinese tin cans will start to flood in.....(to our horror if this happens, japanese secondhand car market will not crash but increase) a bit optimistic but still..... There is absolutely no chance of the govt. issuing permits to professionals again in the near future.....so there is no hope of the 2nd hand car market crashing due to this.

The only thing I could afford was a 5800 XpressMusic....... I'm poor man ne..... Pretty solid for a touch i must say... humpty dumpty s had many great falls! Its kinda slim.... feels pretty easy to grab hold of Sound quality is excellent (after all its a xpress music ) 3.5mm audio jack Camera is not bad either - 3.2MP with Carl Zeiss Optics with dual LED flash It even has Nokia Maps Overall a very good phone.....

Hi guys, I'm planning to buy a power shutter unit and power mirrors(can I convert my existing mirrors using a motor or whatever the other things that come along with power mirrors?) for my car since it came with none...... Any place to buy them? Has anyone a fair idea about the price? (better if you can recommend a place around kandy) BTW.... is this starlet without power shutter n mirrors mean it is a lower grade or something? Starlets didn't have any grades AFAIK...... Cheers!

I didnt see any vehicles with tinted windows being stopped by the cops here in kandy....... I still have my tints on (light tint at front and quite dark at the rear) and didn't run into trouble still.... in fact most of the vehicles here still seem to have not removed the tint on their windows. Most of the people are not aware of this new law i guess..... even if they know about it, they dont seem to be bothered, just because they are not being checked. Maybe I was lucky enough to save my tints still But anyway, I might be removing my tints very soon rather than wasting my time pleading some cops.
