If we are to sell a car through plases like PK niwasa, do we need to keep the vehicle and other original documents with them till full payment is done if a deal is made and an advance pament is done? If so is it safe?

I have been using the car contentiously. I did not wash the engine bay recently. On Saturday I was driving along Express-way in heavy rain around 100-110 kmph from Galle to Kottawa

While I was driving today morning, the audio system started on/off continuously and after sometime the Air-Bag indicator came on. Suddenly fuel indicator also went to zero with low indicator coming on which was at the quarter mark just few minutes ago. I was driving to find a fuel station and suddenly both indicators went off and fuel indicator came back to normal position. After about 4km drive I stopped in front of pedestrian crossing and then suddenly engine went off. I started again and was able to come to my destination (another 4 km) without any issue after that. Anyone has a idea about this issue? Is this the starting of something serious?

Increments are also based on Salary and not allowances. Higher the Salary higher the increment will be. Salary increase is also good for people who are contributing to EPF cos they will be saving more. And with allowances government can easily hood-wing general public by say increasing salary next time by 500 and then adding the last years allowance (say 1000) also to the salary and saying we increased government servants salary by 1500

It is the revenue licenses not the tax. Still nothing mentioned about import tax

Looking at all negative comments, better I cash the two wash and vacuum coupons which are free. At least it will save my 1000 bucks.

Last week when I was about to leave from a parking lot one of Magcity guy came and offered some coupons for Rs. 1000 where you will get price reductions for Wash and wax, Interior exterior detailing and servicing. Since I felt sorry for the guy and the offer seemed to be reasonable, I bought one without giving second thought. I was planing for a Full detail next week and was hoping to use the coupons when one of my friends told that their detailing is not good compared to other places. Appreciate your experience with them in interior/exterior detailing.

What is the big deal?

I had a Ford Laser 1300 18- which I sold at the beginning of this year after using 5 years. Works around 9-10km/l in city and around 14km/l outside. Pretty comfortable and a nice ride and did not have any major issues for entire period (serviced every 6 months). May be spares are bit hard to find cos it took me some time to find a back door which was pretty badly damaged after an accident.

Tad more if it is a double transfer

Looking at the car, the year, the number and options, I do not think it is very very high
