  1. Hey.. what abt Suzuki Swift???... In same price range..
  2. It seems the market is settling down now....Someone was saying that the Axela can be brought down for Rs.3.0mn in another thread...That would be a great deal...
  3. My option would be Viva....

    N 16 Super Saloon

I had an N16 for 2 months....was not a good choice for me...
  5. wat abt Carina AT 192....
  6. Unregistered Vitz/Swift?
  7. Carina Ti/Si, FB 15 New Shell, Civic ES... are within your budget and also good cars to buy...Vios is good on fuel and looks better, only thing is made in Thailand...Your decision...
  8. RAV 4, 2007 Unrg will cost abt Rs.6.0Mn to Rs.6.5Mn....Recently one of my friend bought White body-kitted one for Rs.6.0Mn....
  9. A car in good condition with 1500cc engine will cost about Rs.1.75Mn these days...
  10. Bank is having the absolute ownership or mortgage right over the vehicle. But you are the registered owner. So you have to get it from RMV and Bank won't do it for you...Thats the way..
  11. True. People do exaggerate fuel figure and dont know y? True figure are very much appreciated since it helps us to get a clear idea about various vehicle models...
  12. My Allion 260 does 11Km/l in the City and 12-13Km/l in outstations...
  13. My view on the above topic is both Allion 260 and 240 (2005) are better than Axio. I have driven both the Allion models & Axio and prefer the Allion models. BTW Axio G has lot of options and as a result the price is higher than X. Allion 2002/3 models are older now and If you are searching for an Allion try to find 2005 and above with beige interior, flower lights, Illumination dash etc;. Maroon and Wine red colors are fast moving and very difficult to find. If budget permits go for Allion 260 which is a superb car.

  15. I sold my New Shell FB15, 2002 Ex for Rs.2.3Mn today...Few years back this was available for around Rs.1.8Mn unregistered...Funny thing is I bought this for Rs.2.35Mn in May 2010 just before the tax reduction...See now the market has come to the April / May 2010 prices regardless of the tax reduction...
  16. True Sifaan... This is the concept for Insurance brokering....Lot of brokering firms were established recently for this money rolling game..they get the broker commission also (Usually 9%)....This started when Insurance companies started to give credit periods for clients such as 60days, 90days etc;....but only few of these companies survived while others collapsed....this is due to the fact that these broker firms couldn't settle the dues to Insurance companies on the given credit period....Then the policies get canceled due to non-payment...
  17. Try to go for 110 if possible. Which is a very good car compared to Tercel, Corsa, Soluna etc;....I used 110 for a long period of time and it was very economical car...Spare parts / Body parts are very common and low in price...Even a Sprinter 110 is a good choice I believe, which is little less than corolla 110....of course this is my view on the above case....

    Ae 110

Corolla 110 finally manufactured in 2000 as 'Reveira' and has teak interior..This car has a very high market value compared to other 110s..If I m correct Sprinter 110 ended in 1999 and production was stopped there.. dnt know why?....I used Sprinter 110 for 9 years and it was a very good economical car....It was a manual one and did around 13Km/L in outstations....
  19. If you are searching for motor lorries there is a place called S*H Int***** at Mawathagama, Kurunegala where U can select wide range of lorries. Prices are lower than the other major cities.... Further I also know that there are lot of cars selling at low prices in Kandy and specially in Kurunegala compared to colombo.
  20. True Hakjay...Lots of extras available with Singapore used cars....I also used a VIOS previously and it had all these extras....But recently there is a high demand for 1.3 Belta than the Vios....both cars are very similar in shape and price but people prefer the Japanese Car...
  21. Go for 240 White Allion....2002 model can be purchased around 3.3Mn......FB 15 new shell is also another option...
  22. JAFF you correct.. Its J Numbers.. That's all right..But 2000, S'pore// Rs.1.9Mn is too much.... Generally s'pore used cars have a low market value in SL.. I dont know why?? But thats how it is... There are FB 15 new shells, Ex, 2002/3 models going for Rs.2.15Mn upwards....If possible go for a new shell....
  23. Tax reductions????? Nice to hear...But when....I dont think waiting for tax reductions is a wise thing to do..... Personally feel that if you have the requirement of a vehicle then go for it now... Permits???? its for the government people...Non transferable//Brand new only//????
  24. In this case; Check the RMV, Check the Vehicle - Mechanical, Body, Eng No, Chassis no.,etc;... Try to meet the regstd owner and get the consent of him...(If possible) Then buy it and get it transferred to your name....
  25. True...Tida is ugly and not moving well in SL....Old Sylphy has a very poor fuel economy...just like N16....
