Sporty car it maybe, but it's got a 109hp engine mated to a 13hp electric motor, giving a total of 122hp with 1200kg curb weight for the manual (from US specs as we've a max of 95RON petrol similar to US instead of 100RON as in Japan). In comparison the least powerful manual CR-X had 105hp with only 880kg, so that's why the CR-Z doesn't live upto the ancestor...

Yes there was a small facelift at the end 2004 for 2005 models, they have LED lights at the back and people call it flower lights as I've heard due to the shape. Nothing else different but predictably that's slightly more expensive due to being a newer car and SL prejudice and may hold resale value better.

Well for the CR-Z owners, and any other hybrids upto now, even agents do not seem to able to cope with any troubleshooting so best bet is to pray nothing will go wrong for sometime until mechanics and auto electricians learn about these vehicles properly. But it does retain similar styling and is a sexy little car IMO

Exactly @rockerz - If you want a prestigious, comfy, good looking car, BMW 3 series and Mercedes Benz C Class are there for you. And depending on the trim, they will have real wood and leather.

Well that's fake wood. As for differences between Premio and Allion, even though the latter is more popular even with the elder people in SL, the Premio is more of an executive car while the Allion is for younger people. Something like Premio for 40s, Allion for 30s people generally IMO

You're speaking the original CR-X and not the del sol right? Yea almost all I've seen were badly kept. But our fellow member MD seems to have a well kept one, though it's your luck if he decides to part with his baby And yes the CR-Z is underpowered compared to the good old CR-X, so guess you'll have to wait a bit more and see if they fit in a bigger motor or actually make a successor.

Are you sure it has any wood in it at all and not just some wood like plastic? It'd have been worth if there was real polished wood like in Euro cars, but a premium for fake wood?

True it seems to be the only interesting hybrid for sale around here, but the 2 doors and slightly higher price for a smaller car would put off the average buyer in SL. Sadly, we see very small number of jap coupes around after all. And even the CR-X wasn't famous among the public, only the car enthusiasts know about it. Saw a RX-7 today while with some friends, and no one knew what it was except it being Mazda after seeing the badge, weird sort of guys these days

You're looking at US spec cars and they're not right hand drive. And shipping and other overheads go more than 100k obviously, put 200k so you can leave room for varying exchange rates etc.

Well can't be completely false as we use the Yaris every single day and runs around 1500km+ per month, it does around 9-10 normally and gives a fuel bill of around 20000Rs per month. One person I know goes 100km+ per day for work, got himself a diesel just for that

Yes it is according to most people I've asked. Reasons for Toyota - easy to maintain, not many problems come up even with abuse, easy to sell in SL, can find used parts for cheap prices and accident cars and - "does well on fuel"

Personal preference, yes Cuz I like that hybrid Sonata, especially the rear end. The Prius looks OK when on its own but looks outdated and looks like a pig/frog with it's back raised, especially in that pic with the Volt which looks like it came from Transformers/Star Trek or something. Don't like the Camry either, it looks quite bland and like an export 141 Corolla which we got here a lot for the permits. Porsche, needless to say it's beautiful and more like a baby Carrera GT

Aren't most of these new plastic bags bio degradable or something? Some don't say that but they do seem to rot away whenever used too many times Had a load of polythene bags around the room which was used to put stuff etc which I had to throw away after becoming a pile of flakes. True that not many can buy brand new computers etc., but bringing a lot of junk with a bit of usable parts isn't very good. Same will apply when people look for the cheapest car to get the least tax, and they'll usually have the most miles despite what the odo reads, and in turn worst batteries. And plastics used for furniture is grade 5 thermoplastic so that can be easily recycled, unlike thermosetting ones used in sockets/switches etc.

If the VW XL1 has such a low drag coefficient and only 9hp needed to cruise at 100km/h, wonder what'd happen if someone fits that Lexus 5L V8 hybrid to that body And Hyundai has surely got a good lot of great designers recently, almost every model they put out seems to have some noticeable beauty, while Toyota is busy making econo box frogs on wheels after giving every designer they have to Lexus presumably
