Hola Friends Yesterday i noticed a small issue with my wipers. The right wiper arm doesn't go to the edge of the windshield like it used to.It stops about one inch shorter to the actual position before going back (Previously the gap between the windshield edge & wiper mark is about one inch, now its about two inches). No issue in the movement though. I have no idea where to look or even what to do to fix this. Would appreciate your valuable advice. Many thanks....

Hi Machan I also think that the clutch is the root cause of the problem, i just wanna make sure before getting this thing out & check, from what i've heard is a real messy & time consuming job. I need the car up & running these days & time is a luxuary which is slipping away from me nowadays... I just wanna do whats right at once & get it over with.... anyway thanks for the advice machan,, i'll keep it in mind... Regards

Hi Harry Thanks for the info.. infact i tried to overcome the matter couple of times but ended up with the same results. Cleaned the carb, Changed all four plugs & the engine was tuned up to the level where you get water drops from the exhaust. But there's a problem which im having for some time now & wasnt able to get it fixed. (i dont know whether its a problem even). Few months back i noticed that RPM reading goes over 2.5 at the speed of 70kmph on 4th gear. @80 it goes all the way to 3000. I enquired this on the forum also & the advices given was to do a tuneup or to check the clutch. So i did a tuneup & result remained the same. Then the clutch,, the mechanic who checked it told me that it too was ok & no need to do anything. (at that time the car has done around 65000kms & the guy who checked it is a reliable person). now its 80,000kms i get a humming like sound when i press the clutch. This started only last week. could not find time go to the garage yet.(i see a drop in fuel fugures also.) Would appreciate your input on this.. Best regards P.S experts.. all your ideas are warmly welcome

Hi Machan Yes mine is 1.3 carb.. love to drive a 1.6 EFI like yours some day,, hey yours does fuel very well.. i never thought that it will do that much,, you have both power & fuel economy, thats unfair man,,. Hey machan thanks for checking on fog lamps...i'll pm you my e mail.. i could not go to delkanda as im stuck with my ofice duties,.,, im preparing for my wedding too,, so bye bye for wonderful free weekends... i dont know why Mitsubishi has a low market when compared to other Japanese makes.. these are very wonderful machines.. my next target is an EX,, but its a long shot.. anyway after this car most probably i might go for a 1.6 engine lancer like yours.... Thanks for your time machan,,,, keep in touch,,,

Hi Davy Sorry for the delay machan,, Having a very busy life these days. I still couldnt change the shocks but was able to check the prices. K*B front shock is arount 13,000/- . I'll let you klnow the exact price when i buy them. Hopefully i'll be able to do so in couple of weeks.. So i was wondering how a lancer 1.6 engine would perform, i mean pulling power & fule economy etc.. Mine is having 1.3, it does about 13-14kmpl long distance & city around 11. Is it the same with you?? My car is all good but the lacking pulling power. Hope 1.6 probably drive fantastically... And one other thing machan,, do you have front fog lights? was trying to buy a couple for my car but could not find.. Any idea of a place where i could check on them also... Best regards:rolleyes:

Looks decent, but why the corners are faded than the middle??? is it cuz it doesn't have any space to fix more bulbs?? ( pardon me if i'm speaking non sense cuz my knowledge on this is very limited) anyway i'm just in love with that Cygnus meter panel & i just want to change mine like that anyhow. ( of course for a reasonable price ) any advice on a place where i can get this done??? i want to change the bulbs (to 12V LEDs) & the needles too..... Really appreciate your input guys... cheers p.s see how poor my lights are

Hi I own a Lancer CS1-GL, manufacture year 2001(Brand New).GL is the semi option & GLX is the full option model & i think GLX are the ones comes in AUTO...my car a 1300cc carb & Manual.. the car does very well on fuel in city & in outstations... . In heavy traffic with AC it does 10-11 & in outstations its about 14 with AC & fully loaded..yes its pulling power is low considering the 1500cc model... the car is a very spacious car & frankly i've never seen a car that has that much of space in that category.. i've only had to change the timing belt & for that i went to the agents.. you can find spare parts in any major city no worries,,, i've been using the car for more than a year & other than the timing belt i had to change viper blades only..most of these cars are imported brand new.. so if you happen to buy a one, i suggest you go for a brand new imported cuz most of them are in good condition & its good value for the money spent...there's a myth saying that lancers are hard to sell but if you get the Sunday paper & make few calls for lancer sellers you'll find that almost all the car are sold by Sunday evening,,,,so i dont see any trouble selling it back,, anyway Lancer CS1 is a very good car which i'm enjoying very much!

Sorry for the late reply... Thanks a lot for the advice, really appreciate it. i will get the clutch checked this weekend & hopefully get everything fixed. Hope i wont have to spend a fortune over this as i had to do when i was changing the timing belt. anyway i believe going fro the genuine parts is much better than patching things up with fakes... Thanks a lot brother,, now i'm relieved.

First let me thank you for sparing your time on my matter... You are correct,, its a manual,, as you say,if the problem is with the clutch, what options do i have??? do i need to replace all or is it possible to adjust it?? (i've heard something like that)
