It is non V-Tech engine. Hmmm any idea how much will it cost? By the way thinking to go to agents and do a complete diagnostic before doing anything further.

It is the same thing I'm thinking about. The chemical used to clean the intake system might damaged. I'm worrying about doing the cleaning, before the cleaning there was no such issue. They did a compression test too and told it is quite ok. It is not Exi, it is ferio JDM.

After the the tune up detonating issue is solved, now the problem is pulling power. Sorry if I say anything wrong.

Thanks for your honest idea mate. It Ek3 Ferio 96 recon. The guy who did the tuning reset the ecu. But he did it through the scanner, didn't do as you mentioned remving battery terminal and pressing the brake. Before the tuning up there was carbon on injectors. They cleaned it and fixed. But the second time when i took the car there there was bit oily on injectors, so they told me to it is better to change valve oil seals too. But before cleaning the intake system, there was no oil in injectors.

Hi Guys, It feels me something is not correct with my ek3 from a few days back. So I thought to tell you guys the whole history of the issue and share your ideas. I noticed a small oil leak from the distributor oil seal. So the oil seal get replaced. After that I felt that the performance of the vehicle has dropped and ignition sounds (don’t know this is the correct word, heard people say in sinhala ignition gahanawa  it sounds “taka taka taka“) came up even in 1st gear when I push the accelerator. Before the seal replacement, it was possible to go up to 70kmph on the 2nd gear. But after the replacement it didn’t. I asked the mechanic that is it necessary to do a engine tune up after the replacement he said that it is not needed and he has fixed the distributor to previous angle. Then I went to a EFI tuning center and told about the situation. They cleaned up fuel intake system and kept the enging started using a chemical for 20 min. Then connected the car in to a scanner and said everything is ok now. Further they have adjusted the tappet value clearance and now the engine sounds less too. After the clean up I felt the car moving really smoothly but I still didn’t feel the performance had before all the replacements and maintenance. Then again I took the car to the EFI tuning center and told that the vehicle pulling power is not enough, they checked the fuel preasure and said I needed to replace the fuel pump too. At the time tuning they replaced the fuel filter and said that it was the factory fitted fuel filter and it hasn’t changed before. Further they told that it caused to decrease the pressure of the fuel pump. After that I didn’t do anything, wish any one of you can help me. These days Maruti cars are also overtaking me . It is really simple, It should be single din. no dvd playback as I dont have a screen and BT is also can be avoided as the price is bit higher. I need USB input. Normally which country the pioneer head units produced? Thailand? Is there any other countries?

hmmm actually I need to import the rear trunk interior trim panel which is approximately 3 feet in length and 1 feet in width.

It costs me 4200 for full interior detailing, engine bay cleaning and just the body wash. I get it done from Kandy CRC. The sales guy is also really friendly and helpful. Thanks again for your info.

Thanks evergreen for your advice, I went to the CRS finally. It is a great place to get a job done professionally and the price is also reasonable. They ask me two days to get the full detailed cleanup. They wont agree with me giving the car one day. They told that it is not enough 1 day for full clean up and drying seats. Most of the other places called me needed only 5-6 hours for full detailing even washing seats. Really thanks for your help.

hmm I dont have component speakers, but i have coaxial pioneer 4way 6x9 pair and 4way 6.5 inch pair. The head unit currently I have is but old and it is going to be installed in another car. So I need a new one.

Sorry about the delay mate, loooong weekend is over. It is called Favourite Super Market in Kayzer Street. It is bit difficult to find as it has a small entrance. Anyone will show the place if asked. Go to the first floor. In the ground floor you will see a hell lot of clothing shops. Enter the building and turn right there is a stare case to 1st floor. In the first floor there are 4 ,5 electronic item shops. You can search all the shops. I bought 2nd shop once you entered to the 1st floor. 2458895. As these are whole sale shops always a hell lot of people there, so they might not answer you phone calls nicely and give detailed descriptions of the items you are looking for like professional dealers. You know this is pettah. So better visit the shop.

I called them, a girl answered, but she has no idea of interior detailing. She told that I can get interior washed and vacuumed and it will cost me just Rs 400. I dont think that they use 3M products. hik hik. By the way thanks for the info mate. May be wrong person has answered the phone.

I contacted them and they are open on saturdays until 1pm. He ask me to come on a weekday if I'm doing a full interior cleanup. like if I need to remove seats. Thanks evergreen for the help.
