    Guys, My engine check light is On and the scan reviled that the O2 sensor heater is at fault. Will the heater element failure cause any damage to the system ? (other than increasing fuel consumption) I need to travel around 400Km this week and cant afford to change the sensor atm :(

      TNL having less income. Limited advertisements etc. They run channel thanks to those few businessmen. Else they'll have to close the channel. Channel dedicates some entire programs for a specific companies. Eg. Motor-show something, AP* 3-wheeler sow etc. They run channel like that ..

    There is a place near the Asiri hospital(old hospital @ narahenpita). Have got a few jobs done from them, seems to be reasonable. But as per my experience ,silencer buggers charge you more that you expect

    There is a fiber guy @ Diwulapitiya-Papiliyana (when you go towards boralesgamuwa from the junc). Hes pretty ok with his work and has reasonable charges too.

    The O2 sensor of the K12 was replaced a while back (replaced by a OEM sensor - not from the agent) and now the error code for O2 sensor heater is coming up. I understand the heater is there to bring the sensor to its working temp quickly. Can any one of you tell me whether there could be any other issues because of the heater faliure ? is there any way to check the heater ?

    Heard on the news today that the Malwathu & Asgiri Mahanayaka theros were not very fond of the event as it inconvenienced the residents. The radio news even aired a voice cut of the complaint being made to the IGP when he visited the temples. May be that's why the organizers are going low-key on the event.

    If you purchase from e-bay, would you be getting a warranty ? If not, I think its better to get it from a local seller. You can get your hands on a Galaxy S2 with a warranty for around 65k these days if you search a bit. PS: Resale value is not a big plus point for phones ! The 2nd hand prices go down like crazy. check the wow classifieds.. its like a dumping ground for 2nd hand phones

      There is a shop called red line at MC, they specialize in gaming H/W & accessories try them. I got it from a friend who had an extra tube.

    Yes the person who was on Swarna**hini with his old Pontiac is in Suwarapola,Piliyandala.(and he is referred to as Yaka basunnehe for his looks !) He has had his garage there for a pretty long time(as long as i can remember) and is very capable. Hes on the Piliyandala - Moratuwa main road about 3Km from the piliyandala town.

    The Radiator fan seem to wobble thus causing some vibration, are these fans reparable (if its a bearing issue) ? or should the whole thing be replaced ? how much would a fan cost roughly ?

      its not direct drive its electric. (car is a K12) So I dont think a heat clutch is present.

      take the motor out and run it own its own and see. if its ok run the fan with it and see. if you are replacing the fan run the new one before installing. cos these things need to be properly balanced.

    The plastic fitting where the side mirror is connected to the car has cracked and needs replacement. Any good place to get this done guys? Any place to get recon parts without actually buying the whole set ?

      Delkanda has them. The mount is quite cheap. Just remember to shop around a bit, I went to 5 shops before settling on a new mirror.

      The mount(only) was not available @ delkanda. The whole set at one place was priced @ 22K! but one shop had it for 6. However I decided to look in Panchikawatta as well and until then the nearby fiber shop sorted me out temporaraly. Thanks for the tips guys, Il let u know how the Panchi experience was :)
