Yes definitely RAV 4 is having less maintenance cost than others..I have one friend who is using 1997 model RAV 4..still he's happy with his machine and doesn't want to change it yet..he says he did very less maintenance compared to other compact SUVs his friends using..I have personally driven a Santafe from Kurunegala to Trincomalee and had a great ride..It was a 2000 model tiptronic one.
-
I have driven K10 and Panda, very recently one of my friend bought A star and I had a drive on that also. safetywise panda might be better..but comfort ride quality and spacious wise A star is better i suppose.and it's better looking than the other two..no idea about Viva..I'm sure viva is not a comfortable vehicle but heard that it does better on fuel.

below are some more options 01.kia sportage (below year 2000) 02.Mitsubishi Pajero IO (year 2000,2001) If i were you i would personally go Toyota Rav 4. All of these SUV's fuel economy not having much of difference comfort wise Hyundai Santafe would be better than others.

Didn't mean to throw stones at you.May be the way I said it bit harsh, sorry about that mate..just wanted to end this topic that has become a thread with unnecessary arguments

I don't know whats wrong with some people who owns Prius, I'm also owning a Prius but I don't damn care about zero emissions environmental friendly so n so. There may be a different reason for different people to buy a Prius, whats all these fuss about. If your requirements met by your car, just damn shut up and use your car, Just don't spend time to promote it or convince people who are not at all interested to it.I see Californikan and Rover is just wasting their time + others important time as well.

1.Use Toyota engine oil specially designed for Toyotas..Mobil caltex also not bad either. 2.Is the radiator in good condition?..it's always advisable to use coolent..What previous owner did is completely wrong.
-
I'm afraid to say that there is no sedan designed yet to fulfill all your requirements. There will be opportunity cost always..what you have to do is select the car which satisfies more number of requirements, than making your brain think and get mad.
-
May be manual transmission of your vehicle is one reason for this, try to change your car to Automatic one first,If this is also not solving your problem I suggest you to meet a psychiatrist and explain clearly about it,I know one person who was having a same phobia as you,now he's alright after consulting a psychiatrist

Registered or Unregistered?..Sedan or Hatchback? Manual or Auto? Europeon or Japanse? specify these things ,you will get your answer then.

Yes agree with you 100%,as far as fuel consumption is concern Mitsubishi is better than Honda, I think most of the Honda owners are people who's not much care about Fuel consumption, they just buy it for driving enthusiasm.
-
Unfortunately that is the SL known stupid market trend. If you see around you will see more toyotas than any other brand, then you will see Nissan, and then Honda, have you seen Mitsubishi around more frequently? I think it's not all about the model whether it's AE,EG,CK it's about the brand. The normal factor in SL market (not my personal opinion) is that HONDAs are better than Mitsubishi. The reason you see more toyotas on the road means ,even though they want to buy other brands ,when they think about resale value, finally they tend to change their mind and go for a Totoya (It's not that Toyotas are good,it's just the trend setup by the market)

guys see this link http://www.originalkeyless.com/ a smart key seller.but my only worry is are they reliable to purchase from credit cards. The first suspicious factor is they don't offer to pay through paypal, the other one is their email address is AOL which is free email provider just like Yahoo gmail.
-
The problem is it's very hard to find a good vehicle with a quick resale ability as most of the cars stated as 1 Million are too old, 10 to 15 years or more. I think Cynos for that price is reasonable, but the quick resale is questionable. I think if you can go for a eg or Corolla AE which will be easier to sell,I personally don't think CKs are easy to sell.
-
If you are not a Toyota lover ,you should not consider any second hand value in Sri Lankan market. Most probably the value of your car will go down. If you want to buy Axela, forget about resale value, there are many more factors that Axela is a great car compared to similar Toyota competitors.
-
There won't be a problem If it's having one month to expire ,you will be able to get your license.

Mate, when i insured my car ,that was the time everybody were talking about hybrids, and even the insurance assessors didn't have any idea about it.And most of the companies were in the process of deciding hybrid premiums .so i insured it with them with no extra weighting for the battery.I'm sure i won't be able to do the same in the future, but now i have insured it for damn cheap premium.
-
It's the same thing ,Fuel consumption is little lesser than 121,but overall Axella is an awesome car with pleasure to drive
-
LOL My friend bought a Fitaria and he changed it to a blue bird saying that "FIRST AND LAST HONDA" I think CIVIC is a great car, but I have seen very disappointed owners of their Honda City and Fitaria
-
BTW do you know the fuel economy of new KIA sportage 2010 or 2011 petrol????
-
your figures can be correct since your one is 1000 cc.When you travel with few people on 1000 cc can be worst than 1300 cc as far as fuel consumption is concerned. I think 1300 cc does 15 km/l in long run as one of my friends using it i know it.I think if you care more about fuel you better go for a Passo, It's cheaper same inside space as VITZ and more fuel economy. I don't think an engine tuneup will help you on this.I think you should try to change your driving style a bit and ride it without paddling hard.
-
WOW.. great choice mate.Update us about the engine condition and how she perform

If you do both, Why not ,that will be worth, but the question is can you do both parallel? I think you better start either CIMA or ACCA and then complete one..then with the exemption you can do the other one.But you will be granted few few exemptions in each qualification as they both are different. If you want some management background attached to you ACCA qualification you can do ACCA+MBA or you can do CIMA+MBA i think that would be more easier than completing both.
-
Yes you can.you may not get any exemptions ,but you are free to start CIMA :rolleyes:I have seen many civil engineers also following CIMA as an extra qualification.
-
In normal terms the ACCA is a Financial accounting qualification whereas CIMA is Management Accounting. If you are involved in the share market i personally believe that CIMA scope is away from what you already engaged in,Coz CIMA is valuable If you have an idea to join industrial accounting which involve cost accounting ,pricing, etc. ACCA and CIMA both are UK qualification well recognized all over the world in it's respective subject scopes. They both are covering two different areas. If you are engaged in stock trading I think ACCA would be more suited for you.If you are further interested to upgrade your qualifications as a financial analyst you can do CFA after ACCA with some exemptions. Both these qualifications have a greater demand in foreign markets. To achieve the membership is a hard journey. But once you get there you will feel the pleasure of having great opportunities with very good pay.Just recommended ACCA coz I'm a proud new member of ACCA now. people may say that CIMA covering a greater scope as the more management involved in that, But I should say it's more of a industrial management than financial management.

I think if you do a good search with reliable sources ,you will be able to find a well reputed tourism companies like Aitken Spence, Jetwing or some reputed 5* hotels who will be interested to have a good car for their use.I have seen some people has put their vehicles in reputed hotels.I think that will be safer than those culprit renting parties.
