This is just Depressing wonder if they need anyone to drive these cars out and into hangers or something till its time to take them back
-
Yeah funny as hell Sorry i was out on that thread for sometime Nexus... sadly i gave up on that idea...doesn't seem all that wise to buy it after all those mods plus after the way the guy revved the nuts off of that car, no one who luvs there cars would do like that... every gear change was 6000-7000rpm. even i like to go fast but even if i drove a Ferrari i wouldn't do so (k maybe if i did hv a Ferrari i would )
-
hey guys...thank you for all the help n info but sadly enough i ditched the idea on buying that... prefer to buy a VI-RS that doesn't seem like its been rapped for no apparent reason, there has to be some reason for all these mods... and hv to use the car for sometime to actually find out what might have caused all those internal stuff to change from stock to mods... so m sticking to basics. so thanks again

Check out the video guys this is a cool way to give a short but brief and to the point of the ways of the community on the XDA Developers Forum...pretty cool lolz

btw i got some info says that using a shortshifter would greatly worn the engine down since the engine wasn't designed to be used in that manner.plus some info on the net says in time this might not engage the gears properly. these modifications might end up pretty badly if things go wrong....this is the whole issue i have. yeah he said it had faded paint and some patches on the bonnet so painted the front and doors and left the back coz of badges not being able to remove. shocks seemed to be pretty stiff coz went on a uneven road. i think safer bet is to take it to the agent
-
weight seems to be in order as well... but how can you make a car shortshift gears? is there any bad side effects on this. its a whole knew fish when u drive the car for the 1st time... felt totally out coz kept on thinking the gears didnt engage http://s271.photobucket.com/albums/jj148/muditha420/virs/

Hey guys finally got the pics. let me know what your ideas are... drove the car was k... btw the gears a shortshift so it was a bit odd driving this http://s271.photobucket.com/albums/jj148/muditha420/virs/

Thanks guys will let you know 2mrw what the out come is... but i think the gear knob did look like that too... there were no buttons on the steering wheel if so i would have not bothered even i'm not a fan of people who ruin the already decent ride. any how i hope i didnt stumble across a converted one... will see by 2mrw

yeah i too have not seen black virs's but then again there was no idea. anyways i'll be going to have another look at it pretty soon. so will get some pics to make this much more easier. btw what sorta pics would help you to ID the car. let me know?

@nexus - Hey Thanks a lot man that's just valuable info the price is the issue i have too. exterior he has newly painted it (black color) no signs of accidents n repairs etc, alloys changed as well not the normal virs alloys you see on other models. engine bay is in pristine condition, only mod i saw was the K&N cone air filter, boot also seems to be in order... didn't see any rust or damages on being rear ended from behind... of course i saw it under a garage will have to take it out and have a closer inspection. front windscreen beeding was mis-shape which i thought was a result of the new paint (according to the book its a black car so no change) no rust on the beeding as well. there was a beat barrel too. interior dashboard and upholsters were in very good order for a car that's gone 132k on clock (of course i didn't keep stock on that clock reading to be true but does seem to be valid on 1st glance) there were two meter clusters for volt etc. (one under the ash tray and the other on the driver side pillar) AC was good nothing wrong there. seats were in good order as well. In front (driver side) the roof lining was a bit removed not much of an issue i guess. had a good solid start also idling at 1000rpm. it had a 5speed gear nob black color. how can u identify if this is the original anyways? anyway to know whether this is a conversion or not? signs that i should look out for? appreciate your help...and thanks again
-
@nexus...hmm saw one recently. had a look around and it seems it was in good nick but he has fitted K&N cone air filter, Cross drilled ventilated disks (all four) + plus some meter clusters etc... asking for 25.5laks.... which i find it to be a very hefty price. specially when can opt for a ES3 RS advertised on AL.... Any idea on how much i should offer on this Thanks

Guys need a little info... how much would a M/TVIRS cost? would appreciate if could give your ideas....Thanks

Muditha420 replied to Muditha420's topic in HONDA SRI LANKA

Odd Patterns On The Mileage Of Some Cars.

its kind nice to see when all rush into sell when the number hits 60k leather seats gives all away also... they should replace those might as well come up with some tips for these poor fellows. i mean a car brought in 2004-05 can't hv done that much unless they were poodling around only for shopping....maybe some might even put it as only used for shopping haha -
Did any one notice that all these ES5's n ES8's have the same mileage when selling ? i mean do people all decide suddenly to sell these cars once they hit 60,000km ???? i think they should opt to change the interior looks as well coz it looks like they have run a tad bit more then they are showing i don't know but thats what i've seen so far

i would hv luved to pimp it up would be cool roaming around lol better than a limo

Help To Identify Cvt Multimatic Gearbox In Es8
Muditha420 replied to kaushama's topic in General Automotive
guys need some help here, honda experts would really appreciate your input on this. I read almost all the threads here did not find the answers m looking for maybe i missed some. I got ma hands on a VIRS multimatic tranny... drove it a few kms. 1. any symptoms to look out for when buying a virs such as this, how can you idetify if so. 2. i felt i needed to give it the beans to get it up to speed, coz kinda felt heavy on the 1st run (maybe coz i hv a manual at the moment) can anyone advice on this....thanks -
yeap... but taking that outta the equation n don't think the Jag would be all that good looking. but hey cant have everything in life
-
hope that's the only concern u hv? it might be impressive n does hv a good kick when u floor it.... but damn the ride comfort is poor as hell. i thought it was all luxury n was a floaty ride. i changed my mind after driving the CEO's car
-
y not try both hmm, test drive maybe only con i hv on the viva is the ground clearness but if you are a careful driver don't think this would be that much of an issue. quality wise too think viva is better. interior space was surprising for a small car specially the back. end choice would be yours really... drive both, see what makes u feel comfortable in. if there are owners of these two cars maybe they can tell you whats it like living with them
-
y did u copy paste these words from here http://www.eagleone.com/pages/nanotechnology/article.asp n agree with the post above... easy on the wallet too
-
corrosion aint gonna be the only thing when the damn thing falls apart... m not making this up, i went in one of my friend one i closed the door the only thing that came was the upholster, the door decided it aint gonna close n i thought those kinda funny things happen in TG.... m not making this up honestly... i just burst out laughing was hilarious
-
yep not likely u'll find something shipped here, but like i said before here opt to buy sumthing branded like philips etc coz the kit i brought has a small flicker with it now.... it didnt cost much but still
