I insist you to go for this keeping the fact behind that i takes sometime to sell. There are kidoos who buy these for fun rides. If you could brining it down for 1.1-1.2 pretty worth though it a 2 door. Get out of the box. It does well on petrol just slow market purely been 2door.

True that!! I wouldnt go for a nissan but you can get a common rail BMW for that price with much more comfort.

For a fact i presently use a premio NZT260 given as an official vehicle. Mind you if your hoping to run in colombo 1.5 gets you the best fuel figures since you would be spending half of your time on traffic. I have used both and with experience i would recommend a 1.5. 1.8 definitely gives more pulling power but saying that dont underestimate 1.5. If your hoping for daily running and rush through heavy traffic 1.5 would do for you!! And talking about second hand market, irrespective of the weight and the power of the vehicle 1.5 has a better demand than the 1.8.

V-Tec is the ENGINE and JDM stands for JAPANESE DOMESTIC MODEL. V-tec and JDM has nothing to do with each other. V-tec is the engine that comes with Vti and Vi/RS and JDM is the model which is put out to the Japanese market as brand new. Even here we find JDM hondas but they have been imported as recon.

No machan Exi is the export market model which we got drown as brand new and the Vti is the V-tec engine and ferio would be the JDM model Correct me if im wrong!!

I think we discussed this before!! Since i have the same vehicle which your friend is intending to buy 1.5l does really well on petrol for short distances since even i hardly get out of Colombo giving me 10 - 11 during rush hours.

GO for a Peugeot 406!! feels real good with the prestige and the driving experience but just bad with fuel and maintenance!!Just my personal opinion. In your case I insist a Civic Vtec!! If your a petrol head a good kelisa or a VIVA would do for you!!

Dude if I were you I wouldnt pay a cent more than 1.1 to 1.2. Given the market still you could find genuine sellers who sell at that price. And 50k is a lie unless he had never driven it for like 5-6 years. Given the fact that those vehicles were imported as reconditioned vehicles, a 10 year old vehicle could not have 50k on the clock after 10 years. If you search through AL you find enough and more vehicles going at that rate or even LESS. If your comfy with the vehicle go for it but do bit of a search you could come through a better offer and a vehicle. Cheers

Thats a good one btw and thats why I purposely I went for a premio. Irrespective of the features the premio has, I disliked allions since these mudalalis started dominating the market. Still you see very few premios in the market compared to allions. But I'm sure when mudalalis see the above comments even they would stop buying allions and pull off some premios :D

Yeah thats better. Go for it. And the Superior grill is the grill which comes with the 20000cc but now most of the premios come with that shell even if they are 1500cc. Good luck with your buy ;)

The "superior" grill fits really nice and it entirely changes the look of the car. If your really looking for a decent car, premio would be a great option which would deliver great value for money. But if you do a good search you would be able to find a vehicle around 4.8 - 5.2 depending on the colour and features available.

My advice is try to get a new vehicle as possible since you dont want to spend your valuable time in garages repairing 10 year old vehicles. No matter what ever said and done old cars give you trouble since they are been heavily used for the last 10 years irrespective of how reliable they are so best is to go for a kelisa as mentioned before.Try to extend your budget a bit more and go for a good vehicle. Try to get a registered ViVa if its possible at about 1.3Mil and it is possible if you search really well because one of my staff members bought a brand new VIVA manual for 1.3Mil before tax increase. So a registered VIVA would be possible at that if you find a genuine seller. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Auto side pole means the corner pole you get in some cars. In my case this is factory fitted and there is a switch where it pops out when the vehicle starts and when the engine shuts down it goes down. Its useful at nights to take corners specially for a car like premio because premio is much of a bulky car and its difficult to take corners. Air purifier is fixed to absorb the smoke and dirt. Yeah xenons are HID. Actually its pretty cool. I even thought of getting fixed to my 320D as well. I drive a 2007. I got the highest grade with all possible options you could think of including auto side pole, air purifier, HDD audio player,16' low profile, Xenon lights including fogs, multifunction with the beige full teak interior. Its Maroon. Actually i got no choice since its my company car but still cannot be compared with my BMW 320D :rolleyes: :rolleyes: !! I insist you to go with a premio but then again its your personal choice. Premios are rare to be found since its made exclusive over allions but then again you have to throw some buks more for the premio than an allion. Choice is yours and make it a wise one.
