  1. i didnt really get your question, but the break pedal thing doesnt come to the 323 as standard. i fixed an after market security system that has that feature. your best bet is to replace with a new security system and as far as i understood what you asked.. if the doors are locked, u can always unlock with your hand and it will only lock if the engine is switched on and the doors will automatically unlock when you turn off the ignition
  2. now thats talent... saw this on FB
  3. im sorry, but does this look like elakiri for you? on a automobile forum the First post you do make is about Duty charges for a TV?
  4. my advice is go for a Nissan Sunny FB14 its newer than the AE100 and since its your first car, its better to go for a mainstream car. which has good fuel efficiency, spare parts availability, enough space and you can find a well maintained 1996 (seperate light model) for your budget (300,301.302 series)
  5. T-Bag.. Member since yesturday ey... just saying.. might just be our mallika who got her ass kicked by ripper and now trying to annoy everyone as revenge... once again just saying
  6. beautiful collection of cars indeed
  7. Any New Matrix owners or people who got experience with Hyundai Matrix here? im planing to buy a Hyundai Matrix. just wanna hear your new comments on it guys specially on fuel economy if not any suggestion for a YOM 1999+ car for 1.45M?
  8. OP - it is advisable to ignore malaka2 here.. and perry cant you do anything bout this. he's trolling is kinda getting out of hand and its just plain annoying now
  9. he's high guys...
  10. oh what the heck, im gonna ask it anyway. Why just Nissan? and for your question, i use a FB14 its not a bad car. does around 10kmpl average and the N16 does around 9Kmpl average, but i dont think it will be easy to find a N16 for 18lks. and u could buy a FB14 for less than 1.6M if your going for fuel efficient, try a Nissan March K12 it does slightly more than the FB14 and N16
  11. oh no no no.. u are right... everyone should stop breaking from the right and use there left foot.. heck while your at it, why dont we just even accelarate from the left foot and nhaaa... if i was behind you i might have flipped you off, if you would have been driving like that..
  12. i really dont wanna drive behind this malaka2 guy if this is his opinion of driving a auto car
  13. read the previous comments mate.. the OP is talking bout a auto tranny and i have explained why i use the foot break instead of the handbrake
  14. my goodness... thought only prius fans are this arrogant, seems vitz fans are the same.. Madoc... just driving a Suzuki swift sports. its in the same price range.. then you will get, why we call the vitz boring. reliability isn't everything when owning a car. im not saying that Vitz is a bad car.. 'its just a car'..
  15. OP - just put it this way! you use the right foot for braking because, when u lift you foot off the accelerator and press the break, it slows down the car properly. getting used to the left foot can cause sudden stops that may lead to accidents. so Avoid left foot breaking.
  16. erm the OP was talking about a auto tranny car true, i used to do that as well but once a friend of mine had a bad encounter.. he bought a new A72 lancer and with his first encounter with a hill after buying the car he did that technique (ofcourse it was a manual) he didnt know that the handbreak wasnt working.. and the role back. luckyly there was no vehicles behind and he did manage to bring it to a halt.. but donno, since that day, im kinda paranoid bout it so just started to balance with the foot brake i know its not the best thing to do.. and actually wont advice anyone to do that as well.. and for those who are blabbing about this new technique.. unless you have a proper racing license and alot of experience.. AVOID trying to do that in a manual car
  17. well tbh long time back i got fooled to a AWD FNB 14... i felt it badly when i try to resale it.. and had to sell for 200k less after 6 months or so
  18. as he told me yesturday the car is FNN 15 and the previous owner has removed the rear differential it seems.. and he was complaining about a knocking sound when shifting gears (its manual)
  19. there are situations u can use the left foot, but its not good practice. for example: if your climbing on a steap hill and had to halt.. then using the left foot to break to balance the acceleration from roiling down the hill is ok.. but using your left foot always is a bad habit..
  20. he bought a 97 Nissan pulsur guys..
  21. god u bought a 1997 AWD nissan pulsur it means that all 4 wheels are working, as the term All Wheel Drive (AWD) its not Front wheel drive or rear wheel drive.. its full time four wheel drive.. yup yup call me..
  22. auto 4 wheel, as in All Wheel Drive i guess.. just check weather the car has a rear differential. if so then its AWD
  23. the hell, saw a Zonda Bus today in kandy.. lolololol
