  1. this is a good vehicle even though most people complain about this vehicle only shortcomings and its a bit under powered (afaik its got a CD17 or CD20 engine) and also its cooling system has special bleeding nipples. Most mechanics dnt know hw to use this nipple properly and thats thecause for the cooling system faults in this vehicle. and i dnt recall seeing a switch of any sort in the dash for engine cooling purposes

I have seen this type of prblm in many new cars, but in most cases there is no problem at all. 1)do a complete tune up of ur vehicle 2) and if the prblm persists do a compression test and check the compression of the cylinders coz you can nver trust the so called 'certificates' they can be edited

  7. yes the websites show the transmission as ECT, but are you sure these are for the JDM versions of the Luxel mind you even the Vitz/yaris sold in the JDM market are equipped with CVT's but for the south east asian market these cars have ECT's

  10. well the facelift version has better looks thats all, same chassis n engines, and the aonl reason to buy the facelift is coz its newer and commands a better market price than the older version

  12. the Luxel is a good car with no reported manufacturing faults and nver heard of a Luxel's CVT givin trouble but I wud tell you to consider buying a K* series 121 G grade (facelift) version if you can go for 3.1million. But mind you corolla's are overpriced

  18. i mean that other than the engine components (like manifolds etc) which are avaialanble. then things like engine mounts will have to be custome made as no turbo version of the above car was produces afaik
  19. Hi magnum you can definietly do this but you will have to install custom made accesories in order to get flawless performance.
  20. even though its also badged as SSangyong the R&D for this vehicle was done by MB, but i also have heard that this vehicle gives trouble, why dont u try sumthin like a super GL or VX for tourism
  21. I dont like hybrids personally coz there is much more development to be done if you wanna put it to "proper" use but toyota plans to go "all hybrid" by 2020, over to you hybrid criticises

  25. no what Im trying to say is a prius can be modified to get a reasonable amount of addition power, not trying to tell thats its like an icon for mods like lancers, civics
