MkX, read your heart out , here is my AX-1 Blog. http://myax1.wordpress.com/ Go for a Ax-1 if you are more on the road that off road, with great power to weight ratio you can have some good fun, still you have a great little 250cc that will not disappoint you when you hit the dirt. Try to get a original 120 chassis bike, so you get less headaches/heart attacks trying to find spareparts etc because they are very rare and expensive. Identifying each model and all pros cons are on the above blog. Read through the comments too, lot of people who uses Ax-1 has their views written.

Same story everywhere in Sri Lanka with these "Maka baases"!!! " they were toying with the front seat rails when i went today." True story , they do that to stuff that we find very hard and valuable. cant yell or smack in the face because you need the monkey to get the work done! its a very difficult situation!

Nissan Vanette C22 Fuel Consumption Issue.

spoton! Vanette lets you quickly shift to 4th even at 40kmph and it doesnt jerk ( on flat road) My normal style : 1st gear to get it moving from stop position, 2nd as soon as it moves 3rd around 25kmph 4th around 40kmph 5th around 50kmph + This way the engine keeps quite, belts doesn't scream like a elephant with a tail on fire , and passengers not cursing your mom. but its a non stop train of gear changes driving a vanette like this , drive around colombo and you don't need to exercise your left arm and leg for a week LOL -

Holi macaroni! Are you trying to drift the van ? lol. No wonder it burns so much fuel. Dont push the van too hard, let the engine pickup speed gradually keeping the foot on the pedal lightly and change gears accordingly. I daily drive a same model vanette with about 450000kms on odo. ATM it does 12 with AC in city , and more than 15 outstation. -
